As we are about to close this meaningful celebration of National Arts Month, we take this moment to reflect on the success of HIMIG AT DIWA: AN SMNHS MUSIC FEST 2026, a Battle of the Bands that showcased the exceptional talent, creativity, and passion of our learners, while fostering a deeper appreciation for Filipino artistry, culture, and emotional expression.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all participating bands and performers for their outstanding performances, dedication, and sportsmanship. Your talent and hard work truly embodied the spirit of this year’s theme, “Ani ng Sining, Katotohanan at Giting,” and made this celebration vibrant, meaningful, and unforgettable.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our school administrators, Mr. Marciano V. Cruz Jr., Dr. Joselito G. Milan, and Dr. Cherilyn R. Goyena, for their unwavering support and guidance in making this event possible. Their continued assistance and leadership have been invaluable to the success of this activity.

In celebration of National Arts Month, the Battle of the Bands conducted by the SSLG became more than just a competition—it was a showcase of creativity, talent, and the power of music as an art form. The stage became a space where creativity, originality, and passion came alive. Each band showcased not only their musical skills but also their artistry, through their song choices, arrangements, stage presence, and connection with the audience. The crowd’s loud cheers and sing-alongs made the event feel like a true festival of the arts, honoring the importance of music in our school community.

From the very first performance up to the final act, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. Every guitar riff, drumbeat, and vocal run reflected hours of practice and dedication. The performers expressed themselves confidently on stage, turning their emotions and creativity into powerful performances that resonated with the audience. The event not only showed the incredible talent of our student musicians but also strengthened our shared appreciation for the arts, reminding us that music continues to inspire, unite, and give voice to young artists in our community.
