ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:
π National Capital Region (NCR)
π Abra
π Benguet
π Ilocos Sur
π La Union
π Pangasinan
π Bataan
π Bulacan
π Nueva Ecija
π Pampanga
π Tarlac
π Zambales
π Batangas
π Cavite
π Laguna
π Rizal
π Occidental Mindoro
π Oriental Mindoro
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 19 August 2026.
Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Dahil sa malalakas na pag-ulan na dulot ng pinaigting na Habagat, suspendido ang face-to-face classes bukas, Agosto 18, 2026 (Martes) para sa Kinder hanggang College sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng San Miguel. Alinsunod sa inilabas na Memorandum, ang mga Government Offices ay magsasagawa ng Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kawani habang patuloy na ginagampanan ang kanilang mga tungkulin.
Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng ating mga kababayang San MigueleΓ±o na manatiling maingat, umiwas sa mga lugar na maaaring bahain o magkaroon ng pagguho ng lupa, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Miguel at iba pang kinauukulang ahensya.
Kaligtasan ng bawat isa ang ating pangunahing prayoridad.
