Brigada Eskuwela Day 1: Completed! ⚜️

Girl Scouts of Ampidians are taking charge of participating in Brigada Eskuwela 2026.

The first day of Brigada, is successfully done! From cleaning the facilities and making the booth, we completed it! This will not be accomplished without the help of students, parents, teachers, non teaching personnel, and community partners—a big thank you to everyone who gave their time, effort, and support. And to all the people who gave their presence, that’s why we always say ” Showing up matters ”.

Let’s help to make a change and to have brighter surroundings! ✨

Do you know that Girl Scout was founded in 1912? Yes, alright!

We ’re encouraging you to join Girl Scout, why? To serve and lead our community and to also meet new friends! Sounds exciting, right?

Girl Scouts are always present to all events, they always gather and do meetings to keep things and the members organized. They’re happily serving other people, ’cuz it’s like serving themselves.

In joining Girl Scouts, you will improve your communicating and leadership skills. You will also gain more confidence in joining events and community services, and lastly, you will know how teamwork succeeds.

Girl Scouts are friendly and a sister to everyone so you’ll never feel lonely and Girl Scouts are women of their words, they always do what they say.

Avoid saying "You have to join" or "It’s good for you" — instead say:

"I think you’ll really enjoy this! It’s full of fun stuff you love, and you’ll learn so many amazing things. Want to try?"

President Manuel L. Quezon signed the charter of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines under Commonwealth Act.No.542.Josefa Llanes Escoda, also known as the “𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔” became the first National Executive of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

We're all so lucky to have you as our 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫. You make learning fun, and we always look forward to your class.

It's amazing how you manage to teach us so much and still be Girl Scout coordinator! You're like a real-life superhero, leading troops and teaching us cool things both in and out of the classroom. We wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we appreciate everything you do for us. You make learning so much fun, and you always go the extra mile to help us understand even the trickiest topics. Your patience and kindness make our classroom a wonderful place to be. We especially admire how you bring real-world examples into your lessons, making everything so much more engaging. We hope you have a fantastic birthday filled with joy and relaxation. Last Thursday, September 11, 2025, The 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 was successfuly done with the help of the 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, SSLG officers, especially the San Mateo Rizal - Municipal Disaster Reduction and Management, and the teachers.

𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗠: Duck, cover, and hold.
𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗠: One person will check outside to see if it’s safe to go.
𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗠: Evacuate.

And we should always have a go bag, first aid kit, hard hat, or other things that can protect our head.

𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 is a practice that we must apply in our lives to be safe, because we do not know where and when an earthquake will happen.
