To prepare for the upcoming Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill, Pintong Bukawe Elementary School spearheaded by Mrs. Maricel E. Bagang, School Head conducted a coordination meeting with the representatives of PNP Personnel, Barangay Pintong Bukawe LGU attended by Councilor Hon. Arceli Umbat, SPTA officers spearheaded by President Mrs. Jamaica P. Cabrera, school security guards and the teaching and non-teaching staff on August 24, 2026 2: 00 P.M. at the School Conference Room.

This coordination meeting aims to enhance preparedness of learners, teachers, and school personnel in responding to emergency situations, clarify the roles and responsibilities of school personnel, learners, and designated safety teams during an emergency as well as to strengthen coordination and communication among school personnel, law-enforcement officers, LGU, parents, and other concerned stakeholders.

The conduct of the Simultaneous School Safety Drill is anchored on the Department of Education’s commitment to ensuring a safe and disaster-resilient learning environment. It is guided by DepEd Order No. 37, s. 2015, which institutionalizes the Comprehensive Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Education Framework, and DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003, which provides guidelines for the conduct of earthquake and fire drills in schools.
