OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with profound grief that the Our Lady of Light School community announces the passing of Norma C. Maglantay, our beloved founder and owner, who died on December 30, 2025.
A visionary leader who dedicated her life to providing quality education to generations of students, Ma'am Norma built our institution from the ground up with unwavering passion, compassion, and commitment to nurturing young minds. Her legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of our school, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. We extend our sincerest condolences to her family, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.
In honor of Ma'am Norma and to provide our community with time to grieve and participate in memorial arrangements, the resumption of classesโoriginally set for January 5, 2026โwill be rescheduled to Thursday, January 12, 2026. All academic programs, including face-to-face and online classes, will begin on this new date.
School administrative offices will operate from January 5 to January 11 to address urgent matters and assist families with any concerns related to the rescheduling. Information regarding memorial services has been shared with the school community, and additional details are available upon request from the administration.
