Nawa'y itong araw na ito ay magsilbing paalala sa bawat isa ang pagmamahal sa bansa ay ipinapakita sa gawa, hindi lamang sa salita.

‎History was made last August 14, 2026, as Silangan National High School welcomed, for the very first time, students all the way from South Korea. What was supposed to be a simple visit turned into an afternoon full of laughter, curious questions, and stories exchanged between two cultures meeting halfway.
‎
‎To our Korean guests — thank you for taking the time to get to know us and our culture, and for so generously sharing a piece of yours in return. From the small conversations to the new things we learned about Korea, we realized that even with a language gap, understanding is always possible when there's an open heart on both sides. It was a day that not only brought our two countries closer, but also gave us a fresh perspective and deeper appreciation for your culture.

‎Thank you as well to all the coordinators, organizers, teachers, and to our dear principal Ma'am Susana J. Sacatrapos, our Asst. Principal Ma’am Glenna Fernandez, and Sir Rodman Halili who made this first-ever event possible. Here's to more moments like this in the future. 🇵🇭🇰🇷

‎Ngayong Agosto, ating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 — isang panahon ng pagbabalik-tanaw at pagbibigay-pugay sa wikang Filipino bilang simbolo ng ating pagkakakilanlan at pagkakaisa bilang mga Pilipino. Higit pa sa paraan ng pakikipag-usap, ito ang nagbubuklod sa atin, anuman ang ating pinagmulan o katayuan sa buhay, tungo sa iisang pagkakakilanlan at pagmamahal sa bayan.

‎Gunitain natin kung paano pinatitibay ng ating sariling wika ang ugnayan ng bawat Pilipino. Ito ang nagpapaalala sa atin na kahit saan man tayo naroroon, may isang bagay na tunay na atin — ang ating wika, ang ating tinig, ang ating pagkakaisa.

‎Got what it takes to be a club officer? Or just want to be part of something new? Then Club Day is for you! 😉
‎
‎Club Day is happening tomorrow here at Silangan National High School! This is an opportunity for students who want to join any of our clubs — even if you're not a class officer, you're still welcome to register. It's completely voluntary, so anyone interested can explore your options and find a club that matches your interests.
‎
‎Different clubs will be setting up booths at the SNHS Court, so feel free to visit and see which organization suits you best. Registration comes with a minimal fee of ₱5 per club.

ECO PROGRESSION 🍀

Starting next week, each class will collect empty plastic bottles, papers, and boxes. Each week, the Supreme Secondary Learners Goverment (SSLG) will gather the recycled materials from every section. Those recycled materials will be counted and recorded to monitor the participation and of each class.

At the end of the term, the section that has the greatest number of recycled materials will receive certificates and recognition. This will be given to encourage students to be more active and foster a healthy sense of competition.

For the proceed of this project, we propose transforming the small open area in front of the school court into a functional learning and relaxation space by installing benches and tables for students.

Through this, Eco progression seeks to increase environmental awareness, responsibility, unity, and leaving a long lasting impact on the school community.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) proudly launches "Share It to Wear It," a project that encourages former Silangan National High School students to donate their pre-loved school uniforms to learners who have yet to own one.

Every donated uniform is more than just a piece of clothing—it is a symbol of generosity, hope, and the spirit of bayanihan. Through this initiative, we aim to ease the financial burden of students and their families while ensuring that every learner can wear their school uniform with confidence and pride.

To our alumni and former SNHS students, your old uniform may no longer fit you, but it can perfectly fit someone's dream of continuing their education with dignity.

Together, let us prove that kindness never goes out of style. Share what you have, inspire hope, and help a fellow learner—because every uniform shared is another student empowered.
