Before the game begins, cards will be shuffled and scattered face down on the playing area.

1. Each team must be composed of three members.

2. At the start of the game, two members must work together to complete a bread puzzle while the third member waits for their turn.

3. Once the puzzle is complete the third member must flip over two cards to find a matching pair of cards.

4. If the two cards do not match, they must be turned face down, and it will be the next teams turn

5. If a matching pair is found, the two members who completed the puzzle must answer a trivia question related to the matched type of bread.

Scoring
โ— The team will receive 1 point if they successfully match the bread cards but answer the trivia question incorrectly.
โ— The team will receive 2 points if they successfully match the bread cards and answer the trivia question correctly.

6. In the event of a tie, the tied teams must answer a tie-breaker trivia question, the first to answer will be declared champion.

7. The team with the highest total score at the end of the game shall be declared the champion.

1. The competition is open to all San Mateo Senior High School students

2. Each section may have two representatives. The said representatives will compete independently.

3. The Quiz Bee will cover the following topics:

โ— Classification of Vegetables
โ— Tools and Equipment Needed in Preparing vegetables
โ— Nutritional value of Vegetables
โ— Ways of Cooking Vegetables

4. The Quiz Bee will consist of an Easy Round, an Average
Round, and a Difficult Round.

5. The Easy Round is worth 1 point for each correct answer, the Average Round is worth 2 points, and the Difficult Round is worth 3 points. No points will be deducted for incorrect answers.

6. Talking, receiving assistance, or any form of cheating will result in penalization.

7. Participants must bring one whiteboard and one whiteboard marker for writing down their answers.

8. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker question will be given until a winner is determined.

9. Participants will be given a designated time limit to write their answers and must raise their whiteboards only upon the signal.

10. The participant with the highest score will be declared Champion.
