PRMSU Guidance and Counseling Services held the Consultation on the Policy for Disadvantaged Individuals, joined by University Officials, Office Heads, Guidance Coordinators, College Deans, and Student Leaders from all PRMSU campuses.

The consultative meeting was held at the 3rd floor of the PRMSU E-Library, aimed to strengthen the universityโ€™s commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for disadvantaged students which includes Indigenous Peoples, Persons With Disabilities, Solo Parents, Elderly, Working Students, Pregnant Women, and other Marginalized Sectors.

Isinagawa noong Agosto 20, 2025 sa PRMSU- San Marcelino Regional Mango Center ang isang seminar na pinamagatang โ€œSharpening the Mind and the Clock: A Seminar on Study Habits and Time Management for Students" na inorganisa ng Guidance and Counseling Services Office at Domiciliary Services Office.

Ang nasabing programa ay dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral na nasa unang taon mula sa College of Teacher Education, College of Agriculture, College of Communication and Information Technology, College of Hospitality Management, maging ang mga nasa Baitang 7 ng Laboratory High School at ang mga mag-aaral na namamalagi sa dormitoryo ng paaralan.

Layunin ng aktibidad na magbigay kaalaman at inspirasyon sa mga mag-aaral kung paano haharapin ang mga hamon ng akademikong buhay sa pamamagitan ng tamang study habits at maayos na pamamahala ng kanilang mga oras.

Binigyang-diin ni Dr. Rico Falaminiano sa kaniyang panimulang mensahe ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng disiplina at tamang balanse sa buhay ng isang estudyante.

Nagbigay rin ng mensahe ang direktor ng kampus na si Prof. Ferdinand M. Domingo, kung saan kanyang ibinahagi ang mga karanasan at aral na magagamit ng kabataan sa pag-abot ng kanilang mga pangarap.

โ€œEducation is a life long journey, sa araw-araw ay natututo at nag-aaral tayo upang mas mapalawak ang ating kaalaman" iyan naman ang mga katagang iniwan ng panauhing tagapagsalita na si G. Paul Simon Delos Santos na nagbahagi ng ibaโ€™t ibang teknik at estratehiya upang mapabuti ang study habits at time management ng mga mag-aaral. Binigyang-diin niya na mahalaga ang wastong oras para sa pag-aaral, pamamahinga, at personal na buhay.

Bago matapos ang programa ay nagbigay ng mensahe si Gng. Mendaluz C. Laguatan, koordineytor ng Campus Domiciliary Services, na nagpahayag ng pasasalamat sa lahat ng dumalo at nagpaalala na gawing inspirasyon ang mga natutuhan mula sa seminar upang higit na maging handa sa hinaharap.

Sa kabuuan, ang aktibidad ay naging isang makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng mga estudyante na maging mas responsable, magkaroon ng disiplina, pakikiisa at maging mahusay sa kanilang pag-aaral at pang-araw-araw na buhay upang sa gayon ay makamit nila ang tagumpay.
