What's in your bin? ๐Ÿค” Let's sort it out!

Our school generates a lot of waste every day. But what if we could reduce that waste and protect our environment? The answer is simple: ๐™’๐˜ผ๐™Ž๐™๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™€๐™‚๐™๐™€๐™‚๐˜ผ๐™๐™„๐™Š๐™‰! By properly sorting our trash into recyclables, compostables, and general waste, we can make a huge difference.

Think of all the paper, plastic bottles, and food scraps we throw away. Much of it can be recycled or composted, reducing the amount that ends up in landfills. By participating in our school's waste segregation program, you become a Waste Warrior, actively contributing to a cleaner, greener school and a healthier planet.

The students in Flores Integrated School helped each other in segregating our trash. By participating in the school's waste segregation program, students learn firsthand about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. This hands-on experience helps students understand the impact of their actions on the environment and empowers them to make informed choices.

The ๐™’๐˜ผ๐™Ž๐™๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™€๐™‚๐™๐™€๐™‚๐˜ผ๐™๐™„๐™Š๐™‰ isn't just about sorting trash; it's about fostering a culture of environmental stewardship. It's about teaching students the value of conserving resources, reducing pollution, and protecting our planet for future generations. Through this program, students develop crucial problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and a deeper understanding of their role in creating a sustainable future.๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿƒ

REPAIR OF SHOOT THAT KALAT BINS๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

The Shoot That Kalat project is a step toward turning that vision into reality. By repurposing plastic bottles and other recyclable materials, this initiative not only tackles waste but also encourages everyone to contribute to a cleaner and greener environment.

By restoring these recycling bins, the students showed their commitment to reducing waste and keeping the campus clean. This project will encourage everyone to properly dispose of plastic bottles and other recyclable materials.

Through teamwork, creativity, and a little hard work, students have brought new life to recycling bins, making it easier for everyone to do their part. Letโ€™s turn waste into something beautiful and meaningfulโ€”together! โ™ป๏ธโ˜˜๏ธ

A huge step toward a greener future has been done by the Senior High School Department! We are excited to present our EcoBricks Garden, which was painstakingly constructed from 1.5L plastic bottles that were packed with compressed plastics. This ground-breaking project is a prime example of creative waste management, turning trash into a colorful haven. In order to create sturdy, environmentally friendly building blocks, each EcoBrick is meticulously made by compressing plastic waste inside the 1.5L bottle. With more than 500 bottles on display in our garden, we can prevent up to 1 kilogram of plastic from ending up in landfills. This department-led project exemplifies the value of teamwork and innovative problem-solving. Each bottle is an opportunity to rethink waste, recycle, and reuse. โ™ป๏ธ๐ŸŒ

This eco-friendly haven grows a variety of fresh veggies using more than 500 recycled plastic bottles that have been turned into planters with compressed plastic. We're harvesting wholesome produce and cutting waste by fusing innovative gardening methods with environmentally friendly practices. A variety of vegetables thrive in our garden. This thriving ecosystem not only showcases the beauty of sustainability but also provides an educational platform for sharing gardening expertise. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Our school recently partnered with MDRRM OFFICE for a highly successful ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ, highlighting our collective commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement. This initiative not only transformed our physical space but also fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose among students, teachers and community leaders. By working together, we demonstrated the power of collaboration and responsibility, creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable community for future generations.

This effort contributes to a cleaner, healthier, and more eco-friendly campus environment, where everyone contributes to a greater cause, creating a culture of shared responsibility.

Moreover, the ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ cleanup wasn't just about aesthetics; it was a crucial step in fostering a culture of sustainability within our school community. By actively participating in the cleanup with the help of our School Principal Ma'am Remedios O. Nipal and our Senior High School Coordinator Ma'am Aubrey R. Magno, especially to our Waste Management Coordinator-Ma'am Genna S. Gaรฑalongo, for encouragement and guidance made our clean-up project a resounding success.

We extend sincere gratitude to Mr. Christopher Allan Balleras for granting our school's clean-up initiative ( HAKOT BASURA) that makes our school clean and environmentally friendly. Your support fosters environmental responsibility.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Due this initiative, students learned firsthand the importance of responsible waste management. They saw the tangible results of their efforts, transforming a cluttered space into a clean and welcoming environment. This hands-on experience is far more impactful than any lecture on environmentalism.

The ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ initiative was a resounding success, bringing together students, teachers and community leaders to promote environmental stewardship and community service. This collaborative effort showcased the transformative impact of unity, responsibility and eco-awareness, paving the way for a sustainable future. Our school community remains dedicated to instilling eco-friendly practices, encouraging community involvement and inspiring positive change.๐Ÿƒ
