Grade 8 Digital Poster Activity: Awareness on SARS and Bird Flu 😷🩺💉 (ARALING PANLIPUNAN 8)

The Grade 8 students showcased their creativity and critical thinking through a Digital Poster Making Activity focused on raising awareness about SARS and Bird Flu. This activity helped students understand the importance of staying informed about infectious diseases and how awareness can help protect communities.

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus. It spreads through respiratory droplets from infected individuals and can cause symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty breathing.

On the other hand, Bird Flu (Avian Influenza) is a viral infection that primarily affects birds but can also infect humans through close contact with infected poultry. Symptoms may include fever, cough, sore throat, and muscle aches.

Through this activity, students demonstrated not only their artistic skills but also their understanding of public health awareness, emphasizing the importance of prevention, hygiene, and responsible information sharing.
