“Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa”

Sa pagdiriwang ng 91st National Book Week, pinapaalalahanan tayong muli na ang pagbabasa ay hindi lamang simpleng paglipat ng pahina—ito ay tulay na nagdurugtong sa ating mga pangarap, kaalaman, at pag-asa. Sa bawat kuwento, tula, akdang pampanitikan, at aklat na ating nahahawakan, natututo tayong unawain hindi lang ang mundo, kundi pati ang ating sarili.

Sa temang “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa,” binibigyang-diin na ang literasiya ang unang hakbang sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral na may pangarap, may tapang, at may direksyong tatahakin. Ang bawat batang natutong magbasa ay nagkakaroon ng kakayahang bumuo ng sariling kinabukasan—isang bukas na mas maliwanag, mas makulay, at mas makabuluhan.

Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang kultura ng pagbabasa. Patuloy nating gawing inspirasyon ang mga aklat at ibahagi ang mga kuwento na nagbubukas ng isip at nagpapalawak ng pang-unawa. Kaya, mga Batang ZES, magbasa tayo, hindi lamang para sa ngayon, kundi para sa bukas na puno ng pag-asa.
