The Junior and Senior High School Department celebrated the achievement of its students with honors as they held its First Quarter Recognition Day on December 2, 2022 at DGDLFCI's amphitheater.

What made the event more special was when the Vice President for Acadamic Affairs Dr. Angel Pangilinan personally congratulated and inspired the learners for their commendable academic performance in the first quarter of the school year.

November 14, 2022 — Monday, was the date of learning and discovering for elementary students. This time, they learned how to make a 'homemade tocino' under the supervision of Ms. Melissa Pantaleon, a subject teacher in the elementary department. As long as we can still see the passion in the eyes of each student to explore and learn something, DGDLFCI will never forbid the opportunity for them to find out their skills/interests in life. This was just one of the shreds of evidence that DGDLFCI is a school for growth and refinement.

DGDLFCI continuously hones students' creativity through DIY ARTS AND CRAFTS club!

There's nothing quite like having a creative crafting session with the students during class as it's a great bonding experience together with their classmates and a great way to make memories.

Making crafts helps build self-confidence. It gives the students a chance to discover and enhance their artistic sides.

Here at DGDLFCI, we enhance not only the students' creativity but also their appreciation on simple but aesthetic artworks.

The Master Chef - Club activity under the supervision of Ms. Melissa Pantaleon, made a flavorful and best tasting Egg Sandwiches using the affordable ingredients that would surely treat everyone's tummy, for it is filled with love, creativity, and nutritional value.

Learning English through the Richness of Literature

English language learning had been made more exciting as the students from Grade 7, 8, 9 and 10 performed their chosen texts from various genres of literature on October 21, 2022 at DGDLFCI’s very own Amphitheater.

According to Mr. Regino, the English teacher and organizer of the event , "Literature and language are inseparable because they both influence each other. It is essential to include literature in English Language Learning because aside from its benefits in improving the linguistic and communicative competence of the learners; it also provides an opportunity for them to learn the rich and unique cultures, beliefs and traditions of all countries including the Philippines. "
