Read+ Programs

Read+ provides INDIVIDUALIZED INTERVENTION programs with the use of standardized assessment and research-based instructional approaches. Read+ also caters to the needs of skilled readers who seek to further widen their reading experience. These come in the form of READING ENRICHMENT programs which provide fun, interactive and engaging learning opportunities using interesting literature such as books, short stories and poems, etc. Sessions may be done with individual students or in groups of four. Read+ has programs for effective learning of MATH through a literature-based approach with the aid of stimulating reading lists, games and learning materials that will surely fascinate kids into enjoying the world of numbers. Read+ has designed its very own FILIPINO READING INTERVENTION for struggling readers and non-Filipino speakers, as well as enrichment programs for skilled readers, both using various types of literature written in Filipino. Read+ also offers TEACHER TRAINING on effective reading instruction strategies in the classroom context. Read+ provides CONSULTATION SERVICES for schools in terms of designing appropriate reading materials for actual lessons, and in developing school-based reading programs to address results of standardized assessment of students. Read+ provides ACADEMIC SUPPORT to students whose goal is to excel in their performance in all their subjects in school. This is open to students who are facing difficulties in their academic requirements, as well as, those who desire to take capabilities to the next level. Read+ ensures the accuracy of assessment of students.

After reading or listening to a story, each learner chose a character that stood out to them. They then thought of one word to describe the character and one sentence to tell us something about them, before bringing their ideas to life through their very own bookmark.

From understanding a story to forming their own ideas, and from putting those ideas into words to expressing them through art, our learners experienced how reading can become a starting point for creativity. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ“š
