XPLORE Mindanao 2026 extends its heartfelt gratitude to our local and national leaders for their invaluable support and guidance in making this program possible. We especially thank Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, Bukidnon 3rd District Congresswoman Audrey Kay Aquino-Tan Zubiri, and Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil “Oneil” Pepito Roque for their unwavering commitment and leadership. They’re fearless—Xaverians enjoyed an exciting day at Dahilayan Park in Bukidnon. 🌲🎢 They took on thrilling attractions like Asia’s longest dual zipline, the Razorback Mountain Coaster, and the the Dropzone, all set against cool mountain views. They also experienced the Python Roller Zipride and other adventure challenges that tested their courage and teamwork. The day strengthened their friendship and Xaverian spirit, making the trip truly memorable. 💙✨

Did you know? Ms. Thess Nebres-Ladrido, Principal of Xavier High School, is a proud and distinguished alumna of the Jesuit Volunteer Philippines (JVP) program, Batch 17 (B17).

She is closely associated with Pangantucan, Bukidnon, which served as her mission area and a meaningful place during her volunteer work with the Jesuit Volunteer Philippines Foundation.

Fittingly, this year marks the second year that our Xavier high school boys have experienced the hospitality and beauty of Pangantucan Community High School and its community as part of XPLORE Northern Mindanao.

A beautiful reminder of how a life of service comes full circle, rooted in mission and lived out by the next generation. 💙💛

Seven Jesuits warmly met our Xaverians during their visit including Fr. Carlo Lacang, SJ, Head of the Jesuit Retreat House; Fr. Marlon Fabros, SJ, President of Pangantucan Community High School; Fr. Alex Badiola, SJ, Retreat Director of the Jesuit Retreat House; Fr. Melvin Paulme, SJ, School Chaplain of PCHS; and Fr. Kenzlee Ybañez, SJ, School Director of St. Therese School of Miarayon, Inc. They were also privileged to meet Fr. Arman Samonte, SJ, School Chaplain, XU Basic Education, and Fr. Mars Tan, SJ, University President of Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan.

It was a meaningful meet-and-greet filled with stories, reflection, and faith as the Jesuit fathers warmly welcomed the boys and blessed them with prayers. May their dedication and Ignatian spirit continue to inspire our Xaverians to grow in faith, service, and excellence.Thank you, Fathers, for your warm welcome and guidance. XPLORE Northern Mindanao participants offered prayers and intentions at the serene Abbey of the Transfiguration. They then visited the Jesuit Bukidnon Mission and attended Mass presided by Fr. Carlo Lacang SJ. 🙏✨
