The Batangas State University โ San Juan Campus warmly welcomed ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐จ ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐จ๐, Chancellor of the Pablo Borbon Campus, during his first official visit to the campus following his appointment as Chancellor in July 2026.
Accompanied by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐๐, Vice Chancellor for Development and External Affairs, together with other university and campus officials and personnel, Chancellor Gamboa met with the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the San Juan Campus. The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional connections, foster open communication, and reaffirm the University's shared commitment to delivering quality education and responsive services to the campus community.
During the meeting, Chancellor Gamboa expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the faculty and staff for their dedicated service, commitment, and continued efforts in advancing the goals of the University and in supporting the needs of its students and stakeholders. His message underscored the importance of collective effort, professionalism, and collaboration in sustaining a culture of excellence across the University.
The visit also included a meet-and-greet with the students, made even more vibrant as the campus is having the first day of Intramurals. Chancellor Gamboa had the opportunity to interact with students, witness the energy and enthusiasm surrounding the campus sporting activities, and share in the spirit of camaraderie and community that defines the BatStateU experience.
As part of his campus visit, Chancellor Gamboa also conducted a checking and inspection of the campus facilities and ongoing infrastructure projects. The activity provided an opportunity to personally assess the current condition and development of various campus facilities and to gain a firsthand view of the ongoing initiatives intended to improve the learning environment and support the delivery of academic and administrative services.
The visit of Chancellor Gamboa reflects the University's continuing commitment to strengthening collaboration, maintaining close engagement with its campuses, and ensuring that the needs of its academic community remain at the heart of institutional development.
