Montessori de San Juan

Montessori de San Juan We believe that a small class size is paramount to knowing each child as an individual with his own needs, characteristics, capabilities and potential.

We, at Montessori de San Juan, are committed to exposing the students to a learning environment that will assist them in adapting and adjusting to a diverse and ever changing society. We are dedicated to teach our students that the differences in gender, physical or mental ability, culture, and background are strengths to be respected. We believe that classroom learning coupled with real world experiences will guide each child that enters our gates into becoming a responsible citizen of the world.

Montessori • Inclusive • Progressive

At Montessori de San Juan, we see every child for who they are—not simply for what they can do or what challenges they may face. We discover their strengths, interests, and unique ways of learning, and use these as the foundation for growth.

We nurture children to become confident, healthy, compassionate, and capable individuals—developing not only academic skills, but also communication, socialization, emotional well-being, independence, and the ability to build meaningful friendships.

Our goal goes beyond the classroom. We want every child to leave our school gates with joy in learning, confidence in who they are, and belief in what they can become.

When they graduate and move on to college, careers, and life, we hope they carry that confidence and joy with them—ready to embrace challenges, build meaningful relationships, pursue their dreams, and achieve great things in their own unique way.

We don’t just prepare children for the next grade.
We help prepare them for life.

As part of the Transition Program of Montessori De San Juan, our students step beyond the classroom and into the community through Community Integration—a subject designed to develop practical skills, independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

For their first community integration activity, our students visited National Bookstore, where learning became a real-world experience. From navigating a public space and identifying items to practicing communication, decision-making, appropriate social behavior, and functional skills, every moment became an opportunity to learn.

Because transition is not simply about preparing students for what comes next—it is about equipping them to participate, contribute, and thrive in the world around them.

At Montessori De San Juan, we believe that the community is also a classroom, and every experience is a lesson toward independence.

What a wonderful day of fun and learning for our Preschool learners at Montessori De San Juan!

Our little ones enjoyed a delightful Pajama Party filled with games, music, movement, creative activities, and meaningful moments with their classmates and teachers.

But behind all the excitement was purposeful Montessori learning.

Through carefully prepared, hands-on activities, our children were given opportunities to make choices, participate independently, follow routines, practice grace and courtesy, and develop responsibility for themselves and their environment. Interactive games and movement activities supported coordination, balance, and gross-motor development, while creative and sensory experiences encouraged concentration, exploration, and self-expression.

Most importantly, the party allowed our children to learn through joyful, meaningful experiences—developing social skills as they worked and played together, practicing turn-taking and respect for others, building confidence, and strengthening their sense of belonging in the classroom community.

In the Montessori environment, learning does not stop when the traditional lesson ends. Children learn through movement, interaction, practical experiences, discovery, and purposeful play. Today, even in their pajamas, our little learners were developing skills that help them become independent, confident, respectful, and joyful learners.

A day of pajamas, laughter, friendship, and purposeful learning—the Montessori way!
