ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

πŸ“ Pangasinan
πŸ“ Bataan
πŸ“ Bulacan

πŸ“ Pampanga
πŸ“ Tarlac
πŸ“ Zambales
πŸ“ Batangas
πŸ“ Cavite
πŸ“ Laguna
πŸ“ Rizal
πŸ“ Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Due to the inclement weather which is expected to continue in Metro Manila brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Tropical Cyclone Maymay, classes in all levels, in both public and private schools in the City of San Juan, are hereby suspended tomorrow, August 6, 2026, to ensure the safety of everyone.

Please stay safe and monitor further announcements from official channels.

Healthy eating starts at a young age! Today, our Preschool and Grade School learners proudly brought their own nutritious meals as part of our Nutrition Month Celebration.

Through this activity, our students learned the importance of choosing healthy foods that help them grow strong, stay active, and keep their minds ready for learning. We are grateful to our supportive parents for preparing balanced and delicious meals for their children.
