Remembering Courage. Honoring Freedom. 🇵🇭

Today, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day and remember the life and sacrifice of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage and love for country inspired generations of Filipinos to stand for freedom and democracy.

May his legacy remind us that meaningful change begins with the courage to speak, to stand, and to serve.

Let us remember. Let us reflect. Let us continue to build a better Philippines.

What makes a Xaverian?

It is more than the honors we receive.
It is the character we build through challenges, the people who shape us, the courage to embrace opportunities, and the willingness to use what we have been given in the service of others.

In his High School Reading of Honors speech, Mr. Don Lim, Xavier School Batch 1999, reflected on the privilege of a Jesuit education and how it has shaped his own journey. His message reminds our students that achievement is not simply about what we accomplish, but about who we become along the way and how we use what we have been given to make a difference.

As we celebrate our students and their achievements, may we also celebrate the character, purpose, and service that make their journey meaningful.
What makes a Xaverian? We become, we serve, and we make a difference.
