#𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Academic and Uniform Leniency for Students Affected by Tropical Depression “KIYAPO”

Pursuant to the directive of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), faculty members are encouraged to extend academic leniency today, 24 July 2026, to students affected by the adverse weather conditions brought by the Tropical Depression KIYAPO, provided that students coordinate with their respective instructors regarding their circumstances.

In addition, the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) has likewise directed that uniform leniency be observed for affected students. In accordance with the provisions of academy’s dress code policy, students may wear slippers and comfortable civilian attire when necessary due to the prevailing weather conditions.

This directive follows the urgent request letter submitted yesterday by the Supreme Student Council in response to the sudden heavy rainfall, lightning, and strong winds experienced across Villamor and neighboring areas in the NCR and nearby provinces (e.g. Cavite, Rizal, Batangas) where significant portion of the NAAP student body resides. The request was immediately followed up, revised, coordinated with the concerned NAAP offices, and was subsequently duly signed and approved for implementation.
