𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 | 𝐏𝐔𝐏 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐕𝐏 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

On May 27, 2026, the PUP San Juan City Campus participated in a special flag-raising ceremony as part of the PUP Communication Management Office (CMO) Caravan on NCR Campuses.

Representatives from the CMO visited the campus to conduct photo and video documentation for the updating of the University’s audio-visual presentation (AVP) featuring the Philippine National Anthem and the PUP Hymn.

Led by the Campus Director, together with the school administration, faculty members, staff, and students, the group gathered at the campus grounds and wore the prescribed attire during the activity.
Offices also prepared for the documentation by ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement of their workspaces.

Following the documentation activity, a Training and Orientation on Strategic Communication was conducted for designated personnel, faculty members, and selected staff.

The event highlighted the campus community’s cooperation and support in representing PUP San Juan and contributing to the University’s communication initiatives.

This transition follows the recommendation stated in the petition letter submitted by the Student Council and is aligned with Executive Order No. 12, s. 2025, which designates the DOST-PAGASA heat index forecast as the basis for the suspension or shift of face-to-face classes due to extreme heat conditions.

𝐌𝐆𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍 | Malawak na hanay ng iba’t ibang sektor at organisasyon, na pinangunahan ng mga manggagawa—ang nagtipon upang gunitain ang Mayo Uno, ang Araw ng Paggawa.

Pinangunahan ng Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) ang mobilisasyon, kasama ang mga mamamayang Pilipino na nagmula sa España at Morayta. Mula rito, ang hanay ay orihinal na nakatakdang magmartsa patungong Mendiola, ngunit nagpatuloy patungo sa US Embassy na sinimulan sa kahabaan ng Kalaw Avenue.

Patuloy na nananawagan ang mga nagprotesta sa administrasyong Marcos Jr. para sa nakabubuhay na sahod, kabilang ang panawagang itaas ang National Minimum Wage na ₱1,200; isinusulong din nila ang pagbaba ng nakakalulang presyo ng mga bilihin, pagbasura sa Oil Deregulation Law, at pagtanggal sa Excise Tax at Value-Added Tax (VAT).

Kabilang din sa kanilang panawagan ang pananagutin ang mga opisyal na sangkot sa korapsyon sa gobyerno, habang ang ilang grupo ay humihingi rin ng hustisya para sa labing-siyam (19) na kinitil ng mga militar sa Toboso, Negros Occidental.

"Triple Delubyo" ang naging bansag sa protest effigy na inihanda ng Kilusang Mayo Uno, na sinilaban bilang bahagi ng pagtatapos ng programa.
