SJNHS Intramural Games 2026
E-Sports: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament Mechanics

➡️I. General Rules
1. The tournament is open only to officially registered players representing their assigned district.
2. Each district shall field one (1) team consisting of five (5) main players. Teams may also register up to two (2) substitute players before the tournament begins.
3. Players must present their School ID or any valid identification during registration.
4. Teams must observe good sportsmanship before, during, and after every match.
5. Offensive language, harassment, cheating, match-fixing, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties or disqualification.

➡️III. Match Rules
1. The official game version and latest patch available on tournament day shall be used.
2. Matches shall be played in a Tournament Lobby created by the assigned tournament official.
3. Only registered players are allowed inside the tournament area during the match.
4. Teams must use the registered GAME ID submitted before the tournament.
5. Coaches and spectators are prohibited from giving strategic advice during live matches.
6. The winning team is determined by the destruction of the opposing team's base.

➡️V. Time and Attendance
1. Teams must report to the tournament venue at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match.
2. Players must complete registration before the scheduled start time.
3. A 5-minute grace period will be given after the official match call.
4. If a team is more than five (5) minutes late, that team will automatically forfeit one (1) game in the series.
* BO3: The late team starts the series trailing 0–1 - 0–2
* BO5: The late team starts the series trailing 0–1 - 0–3
* BO7: The late team starts the series trailing 0–1 - 0–4
5. If a team still fails to appear, the team shall be declared defaulted, and the opposing team wins the entire match.

➡️VI. Devices and Equipment
Each player must bring:
* Charged smartphone capable of running Mobile Legends smoothly.
* Fully charged battery before the match.
* Charger compatible with their device.
* Power bank (highly recommended).
* Personal charging cable.
* Earphones or wired headset (optional but recommended).
* School ID or valid identification.
* Extension Outlet
* Faction Shirt

➡️VII. Internet Connection
1. Players are responsible for ensuring a stable connection.
2. Connection issues caused by a player's personal device or mobile data are the player's responsibility.

➡️VIII. Pause Rules
1. A pause is allowed only for legitimate reasons such as:
* Device malfunction
* Internet interruption
* Game bug
2. Only the team captain may request a pause.
3. Unnecessary or repeated pauses may result in penalties.

➡️IX. Prohibited Acts
The following are strictly prohibited:
* Map hacks, scripts, cheats, or third-party software
* Intentional feeding or match fixing
* Account sharing during the tournament
* Using unauthorized players
* Receiving outside coaching during live matches
* Unsportsmanlike conduct or disrespect toward officials, opponents, or spectators

➡️X. Technical Issues
1. If a player disconnects before the game officially starts, the match may be restarted upon the referee's decision.
2. If a disconnect occurs during gameplay, tournament officials shall determine whether to continue, pause, or remake the game based on the circumstances.
3. The Tournament Committee's decision on technical issues shall be final.

➡️XI. Official Decisions
1. Tournament officials have the authority to interpret and enforce all rules.
2. Any situation not covered by these mechanics shall be resolved by the Tournament Committee.
3. All decisions made by the Tournament Committee are final and non-appealable.

➡️XII. Sportsmanship
Players are expected to:
* Respect opponents and tournament officials.
* Accept victories and defeats gracefully.
* Avoid toxic behavior, offensive language, and disruptive conduct.
* Promote fair play and integrity throughout the tournament.
