Online Sodoku will start at 1pm we would like to inform everyone that the link will be forwarded by your Math Teacher in your Group Chats. Also that there will be no schedule for every Grade Level, anyone can join now.

Do you want to improve your critical-thinking skills? How about reduce your anxiety and stress? Well, Morong National High School Math Department have good news for you by joing in our Online Sudoku!

But first, let me tell you a very informative and interesting short history.

✍In 1984, a Japanese publisher began distributing sudoku. They were a huge hit, but it took almost another two decades for the game to capture the interest of players around the world.

The name "sudoku" is abbreviated from the Japanese suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru, which means "the numbers (or digits) must remain single."

Now there are sudoku competitions across the globe, and variations of the puzzle often appear side-by-side with the crossword puzzle in newspapers and magazines.

Did you know that playing sudoku will not only bring you fun and enjoyment but also health benefits?

Many people make Sudoku a part of their daily schedule because it refreshes them and allows them to meet other commitments with renewed energy and vigor. Playing Sudoku also helps people feel a sense of mastery – this is one reason why the game is so popular.

So what are you waiting for? Join us, as we celebrate Math Month by participating in our Online Sudoku. All grade levels can participate in the event, anyone can join as much as they are capable and have gadgets to do the sudoku!

This will be on January 14, 2022 and will happen via Google Meet using spreadsheets that will be given. Anyone can join as much as they are capable and have gadgets to do the sudoku.

⏰Here is the schedule of time per grade:
Grade 7 1:00 - 1:30
Grade 8 1:30 - 2:00
Grade 9 2:00 - 2:30
Grade 10 2:30 - 3:00

Good day students. We are here to inform and invite you about our upcoming activity which is Math Essay Making. Students in any grade level will do the essay with the theme: Mathematics Unites.

This will start on January 3 and the due date of issuance will be on January 7, 2021, at 5:00 pm.

Content (originality and relevance to the theme) - 50%

Organization (arrangement of content) - 30%

Conventions (grammar, spelling and sentence formation) - 20%

We're about to inform everyone about the upcoming Digital Poster Making this coming January 3-7,2022 with the theme "Mathematics Unite". All the entries must be in digital form and will be submitted to the math club Gmail account: [email protected]

The entries must be submitted on or before January 7, 2022, @ 5 pm.

The criteria are provided below:

Coverage of the topic (relevance to the theme) - 50%

Use of graphics (original graphics and creativity) - 25%

Layout and design (Neatness and presentation) - 25%

Total - 100%
