The PUPSJ COSOA has officially extended the deadline for the submission of all accreditation and revalidation requirements to January 15, 2026 (Thursday). This extension applies to all to-establish and existing student organizations to ensure proper documentation and processing for the current academic year.

The PUPSJ COSOA has released the schedule for the initial soft copy checking of accreditation and revalidation requirements for AY 2025-2026. This process will be conducted remotely through designated Google Drive folders to identify errors and ensure compliance before hard copy printing.

The PUPSJ COSOA en banc convened on November 24, 2025, via Google Meet to officially elect and appoint the new officers and organizational representatives for the upcoming academic year, ensuring a seamless transition of leadership within the Commission.

To accomplish any goal, it’s essential to give your best effort in completing assigned tasks, supported by effective leadership to guide the team. Strong communication and solid relationships are key to successfully achieving objectives.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗢𝗔) has consistently reminded both academic and non-academic student organizations about the importance of the accreditation period. After the COSOA chairperson assigned members to oversee various student organizations, a council leaders' meeting was organized. This gathering, led by 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘁𝗮 and attended by student organization leaders and the president, focused on explaining the accreditation process and introducing the assigned members for each organization.

Organizations should take the accreditation period seriously, as neglecting it could jeopardize the existence of the group that represents your hard work.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗢𝗔) is led by 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘁𝗮, with 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 serving as the 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 and 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹 as the 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒐𝒏-𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔.

COSOA was established to guide both new and existing student organizations, whether academic or non-academic. Its members are composed of students from various organizations who have been assigned or have volunteered for the role.

The 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙊𝙎𝙊𝘼 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 took place on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 7, 2024, where Chairperson Lorenzo assigned members and discussed the resolution and its purpose.

Through this resolution, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Juan (PUPSJ) Commission on Student Organizations and Accreditation (COSOA) has formalized the official appointment of its Board Members. These are the individuals who underwent the internal appointment process:

- Glenn Crist M. Dinoy shall serve as the Deputy Chairperson for the Academic Organization
- Kristine Marie H. Rol shall serve as the Deputy Chairperson for Non-Academic Organization
- Anna Janel L. Apolinar shall serve as the Secretary-General
- Princess Jamaica P. Omar, Jaffaith S. Barbac, Micah S. Mendoza, John Mark P. Baryante, Charles Daniel M. Flores, Jannicel D.V. Delos Reyes, Jervin V. Aniban, Winona Shanley Camagos, Samantha Torzar, and Marcus Deus Enriquez Vitug shall serve as the Board Members

Please submit your updated Activity Logs and Year-End Reports to the Commission on Student Organizations and Accreditation (COSOA) on or before 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 05, 2024. Failure to comply may affect your organization's accreditaion status for the upcoming year and will recieve a memorandum of the sanctions.
