LOOK: Taboc Elementary School Learners, Parents, Teaching & Non-Teaching Personnel participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on November 6, 2025. This activity aims to enhance emergency preparedness and response, promote awareness of the participants and to ensure readiness in the times of earthquakes.

Dapat Seryosohin ang Earthquake Drill

Ang pagsasagawa ng earthquake drill ay hindi lamang isang simpleng aktibidad sa paaralan, opisina, o komunidad. Ito ay isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa kaligtasan ng bawat isa. Sa panahon ngayon, kung kailan hindi maiiwasan ang mga kalamidad gaya ng lindol, napakahalaga na maging handa at alam ng bawat mamamayan ang tamang gagawin bago, habang, at pagkatapos ng pagyanig.

Ang earthquake drill ay isinasagawa upang masanay ang lahat sa tamang “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique at upang matiyak na alam ng bawat isa ang evacuation routes at designated safe areas. Sa pamamagitan ng paulit-ulit na pagsasanay, nagiging likas na sa atin ang mga wastong kilos sa oras ng sakuna, kilos na maaaring magligtas ng buhay.

Maraming kababayan ang nagiging kampante o hindi seryoso sa mga drill, iniisip na ito ay simpleng requirement lamang. Ngunit tandaan natin: ang lindol ay hindi natin kayang pigilan, ngunit ang pinsala at pagkawala ng buhay ay maaari nating maiwasan sa pamamagitan ng kahandaan.

Kaya sa susunod na magkaroon ng earthquake drill, makiisa at makilahok nang buong puso. Gawin natin ito na parang totoong sitwasyon sapagkat sa oras ng tunay na lindol, ang bawat segundo ng kahandaan ay maaaring maging pagitan ng buhay at kamatayan.

Ang kahandaan ay hindi nagsisimula sa panahon ng sakuna. Ito ay hinahasa sa bawat drill na ating sineseryoso.

Taboc Elementary School participates in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on September 11, 2025. TES learners, parents and teaching and non-teaching staffs were practice the "duck, cover, and hold" before evacuating to designated safe zones.

Taboc Elementary School - 101074 represents Urban School Category on the Search for the Cleanest,Safest and Greenest LGU in La Union.
