LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 – DAY 1 🌟
Theme: “Different Context, Common Aspiration”

Day 1 of the Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration was filled with meaningful learning, awareness, and youth empowerment through the Gender and Development (GAD) Program and Youth Symposium on Teenage Pregnancy Prevention.

The activities provided valuable knowledge about gender awareness, responsible decision-making, healthy relationships, and the importance of setting goals for the future. Through open discussions and shared experiences, student leaders were encouraged to become informed, responsible, and empowered individuals who can make positive choices for themselves and their communities.

✨ Different contexts, but one common aspiration—to build a safe, healthy, empowered, and brighter future for the youth.

🚨 Boses ng Kabataan, Laban sa Droga at Bullying!

“Choose to be informed. Choose to be kind. Choose to stay drug-free.” 💙

Naging makabuluhan ang isinagawang Drug Symposium with Bullying Awareness kasama ang PNP Urbiztondo at Sangguniang Kabataan (SK). 👮‍♀️🤝👥

Sa pamamagitan ng talakayan, nabigyan ang mga kabataan ng mas malalim na kaalaman tungkol sa masamang epekto ng illegal drugs, pag-iwas sa masasamang impluwensya, at kung paano makatutulong sa pagpigil sa bullying sa loob at labas ng paaralan.

Bilang mga DISians o estudyante, tandaan natin: hindi kailangang maging tahimik sa harap ng mali. Maging responsable, mapagmatyag, at mabuting kaibigan. Dahil ang isang ligtas na paaralan ay nagsisimula sa kabataang marunong pumili ng tama. 🌱✨

‎Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, sama-sama nating pahalagahan ang wikang Filipino bilang tulay ng pagkakaisa, paggalang, at pagmamahal sa ating bayan. Bilang mga mag-aaral at lider, nawa'y maging inspirasyon tayo sa paggamit, paglinang, at pagpapayaman ng ating sariling wika sa loob at labas ng paaralan.

Today, the SSLG officers conducted a hand washing campaign to grade 7 and grade 8 learners to raise awareness about the importance of proper hand hygiene. Through these short discussions, we shared the correct handwashing steps, the right time to wash our hands, and how this simple habit helps prevent the spread of germs and diseases.👩‍🏫‍🍃

Small actions can make a big difference. By practicing proper handwashing every day, we protect not only ourselves but also our classmates, teachers, and our entire school community.🌟💥
