Educator Empowerment Program

We are thrilled to welcome AIG as a valued champion of the Educator Empowerment Program (EEP)! 🎉

Last Friday, 14 November 2024, we officially launched the program, dubbed as AIG EmpowerED Schools, at Valeriano E. Fugoso Memorial Elementary School (VEFMES) in Marikina City. All 70 of the school's teachers will benefit from this transformative initiative.

Present at the launch were Amcy Esteban (Education Program Supervisor, Special Education, DepED Division of Manila), Jeusuel de Luna (Principal, VEFMES), Michelle Lui Horton (Associate Legal Director - Global Operations, AIG), and Carlos Valarao (Managing Director, Alchemy Education Solutions), who expressed their support for this meaningful collaboration

Happy World Teachers' Day!

It was a thrill to be part of RAFI - Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.'s EmpowerEd Cebu Conference. It was a powerful day of learning and collaboration, with the school heads and coordinators of all our beneficiary schools in Cebu, as well as district supervisors from the DepEd Division of Cebu Province, joining forces with a shared vision of rapid school improvement.

It’s a testament to the impact of our Educator Empowerment Program (EEP) in Cebu Province and to the passion and dedication of everyone involved to achieve our program’s ambitious goals.

This journey is more than just education reform—it’s about opening minds and hearts to the enormous potential of our teachers and our schools to become catalysts of change, both in their school and their community.

All this would not be possible without our equally dedicated partner, RAFI. We therefore thank them for embracing the EEP as an innovative path to quality education, and for their unwavering commitment and support of our EmpowerEd Cebu effort. Daghang salamat.

𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | Teachers are the driving force behind school improvement. When teachers are empowered, inspired, and passionate, alongside supportive school leaders, they have the power to greatly impact student learning. We recently brought together over 70 Learning Action Cell (LAC) coordinators, school heads and district supervisors from Cebu Province for the EmpowerEd Cebu Conference. It was a day filled with learning about Rapid School Improvement, sharing tips on implementing community building activities, and recognizing the dedication of our educators who have been with us since we first started rolling the program back in December of last year.
