BATANG CITY HIGH LAGING HANDA

07/08/2026

Earlier today, August 7, 2026 in San Jose City National High School, OUTFIT 2223 once again gathered, this time, for one of the most interesting part of our journey... the road to Scout Advancement. One room, one purpose, one goal - to become better Scouts and better people. It wasn’t just about requirements and ranks. It was about commitment, teamwork, and the values we carry forward.

A big thank you to our guests, SL Glaiza A. Estabillo, WBH, ALT with CMT and SL Joyce N. Bucaneg, WBH, ALT with CMT, for gracing us with your guidance and support. We’re grateful for your presence and for reminding us that advancement is not just about badges, but about character. Here’s to learning more and doing more.

Leadership begins with a promise to serve.

Today, July 14, we proudly took our Oath as one of the Youth Formation Organization in San Jose City National High School alongside the Rover Scouts and other school youth organizations, we officially accepted the responsibility to lead with integrity, discipline, and service. We are grateful to Hon. Jennifer Salvador for inspiring us through her message as we begin this new journey.

This oath is more than a ceremony it is a commitment to serve our school and community with honor, courage, and dedication. May this mark the beginning of meaningful leadership, selfless service, and lasting impact in everything we do. ⚜️

Standing tall under the morning sun. Earlier today, SJCNHS Senior Scouts led the flag raising with pride in our hearts and duty in our hands.

For us, honoring the flag isn’t just a routine. It’s a promise to serve our country, our school, and each other. In every salute, we remember the responsibility that comes with wearing this uniform.

In every fold of the flag and every note of the anthem, we’re reminded why we chose this path. For country, for people.⚜️

Standing straight, hearts full and eyes fixed on our flag, every student of San Jose City National High School actively participates during the flag ceremony, July 6, 2026

As we stand together we are not only following a routine but simply remembering what the sacrifices of our heroes did for us to be free today

For us Scouts, this moment means even more, we stand true to our Scout Oath and Law, promising to do our duty with respect and discipline. We salute not only this symbol of our nation, but also the call to be loyal, helpful, trustworthy, and ready to serve our fellow Filipinos wherever we are.

Today's Flag Lowering Ceremony reminded us of our responsibility to lead with discipline and serve with purpose. Our participation in the flag lowering ceremony serves to remind us that the essence of being leaders lies in what we do rather than just what we say. A salutation is a mark of respect that we offer to our nation with regards to our commitment to the values we live by as Scouts.

As the flag lowers, it serves to remind us that our responsibilities go beyond today’s ceremony. May we carry the sense of duty, responsibility, and discipline in all aspects of life, influencing our peers and juniors alike through our exemplary behavior inside and outside the school environment. Together, we recommit to the Scout Oath and Law everyday. ⚜️
