Partido State University President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo graced the College of Agribusiness and Community Development’s ORSEM 2026 with an inspiring message for its first-year students.

He shared the story of a young boy from Tinambac who pursued his education despite poverty. With determination and an unwavering belief in what education could make possible, the boy refused to let his circumstances define his future.

Then came the heartfelt revelation: 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵.

Dr. Zarcedo reminded the freshmen that poverty need not determine the limits of their dreams.

"Ang edukasyon ang mabukas kan pintuan na sinarado kan pagtios."

His message challenged CACD students to persevere, pursue their aspirations, and believe in the transformative power of education.

Isinasagawa ngayong araw ang Freshmen Orientation and Continuing Student Reorientation Seminar o ORSEM 2026 ng Partido State University–College of Agribusiness and Community Development sa ParSU Salogon Multifunction Hall.

Sa temang “One Community, One Vision: Embracing the PARSU Journey,” nagtitipon ang mga mag-aaral upang higit na maunawaan ang mga programa, serbisyo, patakaran, at oportunidad sa unibersidad, gayundin ang kanilang mga tungkulin bilang bahagi ng komunidad ng ParSU.

The celebration began with the Opening Program and Flag Ceremony, setting a tone of unity and patriotism. From Human Bingo to the Photobooth, Freedom Wall, and the distribution of prospectus and flyers for freshmen, the event fostered connections and provided essential orientation.

Highlights also included the 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝 and 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, alongside the Faculty & Staff 𝐎𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 — recognizing discipline, pride, and dedication within the CACD community.
