Our environment reflects how we care for it. When we choose to act by cleaning our surroundings, planting trees, and working together we help preserve the beauty and balance of nature. These simple efforts may seem small, but when done collectively, they create a powerful impact on our community and future.

Now is the time to take responsibility and be part of the solution. Let us inspire others to protect our environment and build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow—starting with the actions we take today.

Noong sabado, Disyembre 6, 2025, nakilahok ang YES-O Officers sa Barangay Clean-up Drive. Ginanap ito sa Zone 3 at Zone 1 Brgy. Kaliwanagan kasama ang mga Barangay Officials, BHW, 4ps at SK Officials ng Barangay.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay para sa lahat, upang itaguyod ang kaalaman natin sa paglilinis at pagpapanatili ng ligtas at malinis na kapaligiran. At ang layuning ito ay makakamit sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan.

Sa pagtatapos ng ganitong mga aktibidad, napapatunayan ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan para sa ikabubuti ng ating komunidad at kapaligiran.

Tandaan na ang ating kapaligiran ay ating responsibilidad. Kailangan natin itong pangalagaan at ingatan para sa kinabukasan ng ating komunidad.

YES-O CLEAN-UP DRIVE: WORKING TOGETHER FOR A CLEANER COMMUNITY

Last October 11 and 18, 2025 the YES-O officers together with some students and Barangay officials joined the clean-up drive in our community. Everyone help each other to sweep the streets, pick up trashes, and make the surroundings clean and safe. The activity is made to encourage teamwork and to show how important it is to take care of our environment.

The clean-up drive was not just about cleaning, but also about learning to be responsible and cooperative. Through helping one another, we saw that even small actions can make a big change. It was really fun and meaningful, and it reminds us that keeping our community clean is everyone’s responsibility

"Empowered to Lead"

On August 15, 2025, we had the amazing opportunity to join "Empowered to Lead", a seminar focused on building our communication and leadership skills. This program, organized under the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), was created to support and guide student leaders in becoming more confident, responsible, and effective.

The seminar was led by our inspiring SK officers, Ma'am Aila C. Domingo and Ma'am Trisha Mae Carbonel, who shared their experiences and gave us practical tips on how to lead with purpose and heart.

We, the YES-O officers, actively participated in the discussions and activities. We learned that leadership isn’t about being the boss—it’s about setting a good example, working with others, and helping everyone succeed.

One quote that really inspired us was from Ma'am Trisha:

“Ang pagiging lider ay hindi pagiging boss, kundi pagiging tagapanguna para magawa nang maayos ang isang gawain.”

This reminded us that true leadership means serving, guiding, and taking responsibility. We’re now more empowered to lead with integrity, teamwork, and commitment, not just for our organization, but for the whole school community.
