Elegance, gratitude, and legacy filled the air as the Senior High School students of St. Augustine Foundation Colleges of Nueva Ecija, Inc. celebrated their final Graduation and Recognition Ball on March 20, 2026, under the enchanting theme “Crimson Mystique Glitz – A Night of Legacy.”

The much-anticipated event marked not only a celebration of achievements but also a heartfelt farewell to a remarkable chapter in the students’ academic journey. Dressed in stunning crimson gowns, sharp black tuxedos, and radiant smiles, the graduating class transformed the venue into a breathtaking scene of sophistication and youthful triumph.

The evening opened with a grand procession, as students confidently walked across the ballroom floor, embodying grace and pride. The color crimson symbolized passion, courage, and determination—qualities that defined the batch of 2026. Glittering lights and elegant décor reflected the “Mystique Glitz” motif, creating an atmosphere that was both magical and deeply sentimental.

In his message, a school administrator emphasized that the ball was more than just a formal gathering. “Tonight is not only about glamour and celebration,” he shared. “It is about honoring your legacy—the values you have built, the friendships you have strengthened, and the excellence you have achieved.”

As the night progressed, the ballroom transformed into a celebration of unity and joy. Laughter filled the air, cameras captured timeless memories, and classmates embraced one another—fully aware that this would be one of their last nights together as Senior High School students.

The Graduation and Recognition Ball concluded with a symbolic closing ceremony, reminding the Class of 2026 that while the night may end, their legacy will continue. The Final Stand: A Celebration of Grit, Growth, and Greatness

Last March 9, 2026, the halls of academic excellence echoed with courage, conviction, and celebration as the last batch of Grade 12 students faced the defining moment of their senior high school journey—their Final Research Defense.

It was more than a requirement. It was a rite of passage.

Clothed in confidence and armed with months of sleepless nights, revisions, consultations, and prayers, the students stood before a distinguished panel of evaluators: Sir Eric John T. Chavez, Ms. Mary Kristine Hagon, Ms. Joan Duran, and Sir Dexter De Guzman. Each panelist brought depth, discipline, and sharp discernment to the room, ensuring that every study presented met not only academic standards but also intellectual integrity.

The atmosphere was intense yet inspiring. Questions were precise. Feedback was constructive. Every inquiry pushed the students to think critically, defend boldly, and articulate clearly. It was evident that this was not just about grades—it was about growth.

Adding prestige and excitement to the event was the presence of the guest panelist, Ms. Mitchie Avegail Abellanoza, a Research Analyst from the Philippine Air Force. Her expertise elevated the level of discourse, challenging the students to see research beyond the classroom—into real-world application and national relevance.

As each group concluded their defense, a transformation was visible. Nervous presenters became confident researchers. Hesitant voices grew firm and assured. What began months ago as simple research proposals had matured into well-defended academic works backed by data, analysis, and determination.

This final batch of Grade 12 researchers did not merely complete a requirement—they made a statement. They demonstrated resilience in the face of critique, unity within their teams, and humility in accepting recommendations for improvement.

March 9, 2026, will be remembered not just as a defense day, but as a celebration of transformation. A day when students stepped forward not just as learners, but as emerging scholars.

Indeed, the final defense was not an ending—it was a launching pad.

To the last batch of Grade 12 students: you have defended your research, but more importantly, you have defended your growth. The future now awaits your brilliance.

First Batch of Grade 12 Researchers Successfully Completes Final Defense

From February 23 to March 2, 2026, the first batch of Grade 12 student-researchers from the Home Economics and Caregiving strands successfully conducted their final defense. The event marked a significant academic milestone as students presented and defended the results of their research studies.

The panel of evaluators included Sir Eric John Chavez, Ma’am Mary Kristine Hagon, Joan Duran, and Sir Dexter De Guzman, with a guest panelist from Core Gateway College, Inc., Ma’am Jiannise Guillermo. Assisting in refining the research papers was Ma’am Nicole D. Cruz, who served as the Language Critique, ensuring the clarity, coherence, and correctness of the manuscripts.

Throughout the defense, students confidently explained their findings, responded to questions, and received constructive feedback from the panel. Their successful defense reflects months of dedication, teamwork, and academic growth, marking a proud achievement for the first batch of Grade 12 researchers.
