Coming from a very poor family, I experienced how difficult life can be. I helped my father work in the mountains through rain or shine, and those struggles inspired me to pursue my education no matter what. Even when my parents could not afford to send me to school, I held on to my dream and trusted God.

Through His grace, He made a way. My brother-in-law supported my studies, and I was blessed to become a scholar under the CHED-PCA CoScho Program. Today, I am a graduating student of the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Class of 2026.

To my family, relatives, instructors, classmates, and everyone who helped me along the wayโ€”thank you. This achievement is not mine alone; it belongs to all of you.

"See, I am doing a new thing!" โ€” Isaiah 43:19

When I entered college at the height of the pandemic, when everything felt uncertain and heavy, I chose a program not out of passion but out of practicality, weighed down by financial constraints and the pressure to secure a stable future. I was torn between the dream I held in my heart and the path I thought I had to take, weighing our financial situation. I carried the weight of a program that wasnโ€™t my first choice while battling a crisis, constantly questioning my purpose in life and whether I was on the right track.

However, as I immersed myself more deeply in the Agribusiness program, I came to realize that true acceptance begins within oneself. I stopped resisting and slowly began to see the beauty in the road I once questioned. I realized that agriculture is not just a field; it is the backbone of our country and the very source that feeds humanity. Every seed planted and every harvest reaped is an act of hopeโ€”hope to live and to continue. I now understand that the path I am on is an integral part of something far bigger than myself. As a future leader and professional in this field, I embrace my role as a change agent who will bring about change, helping everyone see the beauty in everything. And I held on to these words: "Acceptance didnโ€™t mean giving up; it meant trusting that even an unplanned path could lead to meaning and purpose."

I am endlessly grateful for the people who became my light along the way. To God, for His grace. To my proudest family, for loving me and helping me without condition. To my College of Agribusiness and Community Development professors and instructors, who became not just teachers but also parents, friends, and inspirations. To my classmates and friends, we have built lifelong bonds and shared laughter that lifted the heaviest days. To the whole CACD family, the very kindness you showed became part of my strength, and this achievement is as much yours as it is mine.

I may have struggled with my chosen path, but I learned that you can always remind yourself of the purpose and meaning behind what you do.

If someone had told me four years ago that I would one day write a graduation testimony, I probably would have laughed and asked, "Are you sure you're talking about me?"

Like many students, I entered Partido State University carrying dreams that were bigger than my confidence and expectations that were heavier than my backpack. I thought college would be a straightforward journey of attending classes, passing exams, and earning a diploma. Instead, it became a story of unexpected victories, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, self-doubt, growth, and countless moments that tested who I was and who I wanted to become.

There were days when I felt unstoppable and days when I questioned whether I belonged at all. Yet somehow, through every deadline, every challenge, and every lesson learned, I kept moving forward. Looking back now, I realize that college taught me far more than Agribusiness. It taught me resilience, patience, leadership, and the courage to continue even when I wasn't certain of the outcome.

Throughout my stay at Partido State University โ€“ Salogon Campus, I was given opportunities that helped shape me into the person I am today. I served as a student leader, participated in academic competitions, conducted field interviews, completed my practicum, and engaged in research that challenged me to think critically and creatively. These experiences taught me that learning does not only happen inside the classroom but also happens through service, teamwork, and real-life experiences.

One lesson that Agribusiness taught me is the value of patience. Just as crops do not grow overnight, success also takes time. There were seasons of growth and seasons of struggle. There were plans that succeeded and plans that did not. However, every experience became part of the journey that brought me to this moment.

Today, as a member of the Graduating Class of 2026, I am proud not because my journey was perfect, but because I never gave up on it. This achievement is not mine alone. It belongs to the people who supported me every step of the way.

To my family, thank you for your sacrifices, understanding, and unconditional support. To my professors and mentors, thank you for your patience, guidance, and for believing in our potential. To my classmates, thank you for sharing both the challenges and the victories that made college life unforgettable.

As we leave the university and begin a new chapter, I hope we carry with us not only the knowledge we gained but also the resilience, humility, and determination that helped us reach this milestone. We may come from different backgrounds and have different destinations, but we share one thing in common: we chose to keep going.

To the Graduating Class of 2026, congratulations. May we continue to grow, learn, and make a positive impact wherever life takes us.

Above all, to God be all the glory.
