The BSA Department proudly joins the entire 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 community in welcoming Rev. Fr. Crispin A. Cordero, SVD, MSBA as the 15th President of Divine Word College of San Jose. 🙏🏻

As a new chapter unfolds, may your leadership be guided by wisdom, strengthened by courage, and grounded in compassion. May your vision inspire every student, faculty member, and member of the DWCSJ community to continue striving for excellence and serving with purpose.

The BSA students gathered for the 7:30 𝑨𝑴 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝑺𝒕. 𝑱𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒍, taking a moment to pause, pray, and reflect on God’s Word. ⛪

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the importance of 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬, 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡. May we not only hear His Word but also live it through love, kindness, and service to others.

We also recognize our fellow BSA students who are 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬. Despite the distance, busy schedules, and different circumstances, they chose to make time for God. 🤍

May this remind us that 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. Wherever we may be, may we always find time to pray, worship, and strengthen our relationship with the Lord.

Today, we recognize not just the person behind the credential, but the potential, character, and commitment that come with it.

A credential may carry a name and a position, but behind it lies something far greater, a willingness to step forward, take responsibility, and serve with purpose. It represents the courage to be entrusted with a responsibility, the commitment to listen to the voices of thep department, and the determination to turn intentions into meaningful action.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 is not simply about standing in front. It is about knowing when to step up, when to listen, and when to put the needs of others before yourself. It is about showing up consistently, especially when the work is difficult and the expectations are high.

Every 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 has a different story, but the purpose remains the same: 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆, 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.
