Last Saturday September 27, 2014, School Based Kalikasan Camp has been held at Taysan National High School and was attended by most of TNHS students.

YES-O (TNHS) conducted a symposium lately (September 16, 2014) about "WASTE MANAGEMENT (Tamang Pamamahala sa Basura)".

This symposium talks about the provisions of Section 59 of Republic Act No. 9003 , otherwise known as the "Philippine Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.

YES-O Project is Waste Management and Proper Segregation

Mga Pamamaraan:
1. Segregation of Biodegradable and Non-Biodegrable o paghihiwalay ng nabubulok sa di nabubulok na basura
^Ang nabubulok na basura ay sa "COMPOST PIT"

^Ang di nabubulok na basura ay sa "HUKAY" maliban sa foil.
Ang bawat section ay kailangang makapagpasa ng throw pillow na gawa sa foil sa buwan ng Oktubre, Enero at Marso.

^Ang papel ay ilalagay sa sako at kokolektahin ng YES-O Officers every Thursday.

Oras ng pagtatapon ng basura
6:00-7:00 sa umaga
10:30-11:30 para sa Grade 7 at Grade 8
11:30-12:30 para sa Grade 9 at 4th year
3:30-4:30 sa hapon

2. 3r's - Reduce Reuse Recycle
^"Reduce" means using fewer resources in the first place.
^"Reuse" before you recycle or dispose of anything, consider whether it has life left in it.
^"Recycle"-Recycling is the "R" that has caught on the best. Partly, this is because there are so many curbside recycling programs today (8,660 as of 2006, according to the EPA), which makes recycling so darned easy.

3. Pag-compost (Paggawa ng Abono o Fertilizer)

So, ang lahat po ay inoobliga na sumunod sa mga patakaran na napagkasunduan para sa pagsasakatuparan ng proyekto ng YES-O tungo sa pagtamo ng maayos at kaaya-ayang kapaligiran.
