Hi Everyone:

For those schools with problems on students from private schools with unsettled accounts where some are completing either Grade 6 or Grade 10. Will they be included in the completers?

This is the advice from the office of undersecretary for Legal Affairs:

"Under DO 88 s.2010 they will have to settle their accounts with the private school so that they can get their credentials. Without these, we can only give a certification for the grade levels they completed in Deped schools"

The school principal must conduct a special meeting with parents of students with issues on unsettled account and explain the provisions of DO 88 and remind them of their obligation to settle their account in private schools. Thats the ONLY SOLUTION to the problem. They cannot get their complete form 137 from us unless they resolve the core of the problem. What they can get is a certification that they completed a grade level.
