Gov. Santos Capadocia Memorial School remains committed to providing a safe, secure, and motivating learning environment for all our learners, in accordance with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 – Guidelines on Ensuring Safe and Motivating Learning Environment.

Through the implementation of routine entry inspections, reasonable bag searches when necessary, proper handling of prohibited items, responsible use of electronic devices, vehicle inspection procedures, and the installation of CCTV and other security measures, we continue to uphold a school culture founded on discipline, respect, fairness, and child protection.

15 school safety rules (Elementary) that keep everyone protected and the day running smoothly:

Personal & Physical Safety

• 1. Walk, don't run: Move calmly in hallways, stairs, and classrooms to avoid trips and collisions.
• 2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself: No pushing, shoving, or throwing things.
• 3. Report unsafe behavior immediately: Tell a teacher or staff if you see bullying, fighting, or someone getting hurt.
• 4. Stay in supervised areas: Don't leave the classroom, playground, or campus without permission.
• 5. Follow fire and earthquake drill procedures: Know your exit routes and meeting points. No talking during drills.

Health & Hygiene

• 6. Wash hands regularly: Especially before eating and after using the restroom.
• 7. Cover coughs and sneezes: Use your elbow or a tissue, then wash your hands.
• 8. Don't share personal items: Water bottles, food, combs, or hats can spread germs.
• 9. Report if you feel sick or injured: Go to the clinic or tell a teacher right away.

Classroom & Equipment

• 10. Use tools and equipment properly: Scissors, lab gear, and PE equipment only as instructed.
• 11. Keep aisles and exits clear: Backpacks and chairs shouldn't block walkways or doors.
• 12. No dangerous items at school: Knives, lighters, matches, or weapons are never allowed.

Digital & Social Safety

• 13. Respect online boundaries: No photos/videos of classmates without permission. Report cyberbullying.
• 14. Keep personal info private: Don't share your address, phone number, or passwords at school or online.
• 15. Follow visitor rules: All guests must check in at the office. Never open outside doors for strangers.
