As part of our commitment to maintaining safe schools and ensuring continuous learning, Bigain Integrated School introduces the 4 Levels of Emergency Response protocol. Guided by our School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Organization, these levels help us navigate disruptions while keeping our learners and teachers safe.
Here is a quick guide to what each level means as shown in image.
π© Level 1: HAYO (Continue) β Regular, normal in-person learning proceeds without changes when everyone is safe and ready.
π§ Level 2: HINAY (Ease-In) β Learning intentionally slows down during minor disruptions, shifting to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) to lower academic pressure.
π¦ Level 3: HINGA (Check-In) β Instruction scales down during significant disruptions, shifting focus to trauma-informed care and psychosocial support.
π₯ Level 4: HINTO (Stop) β All academic activities are completely stopped during imminent danger. Absolute priority is physical safety and emergency relief.
Let's stay informed, prepared, and resilient!
