Para naman sa mga Contract of Service (COS) at Job Order (JO) workers na mailalagay sa alternative work arrangements, mananatili ang kanilang kaukulang sahod o compensation, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga patakaran.

Sa ating mga kababayang nasa private sector, ang pagsususpinde ng trabaho o pagpapatupad ng alternative work arrangements ay nasa pagpapasya ng management.
