The Library Student Council is thrilled to officially launch LSCare Space, a dedicated area designed to provide students with an environment that supports focus and well-being for study, rest, and reflection within the library.

This initiative is a proposed project of the Library Student Council – Main Campus (LSC-MC) for the Academic Year 2024–2025, created in response to the growing need for a student-centered space that promotes both productivity and well-being.

𝑻𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍, 𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒐𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈:

• Log in before use and log out after; limit stay to 15–30 minutes during peak hours
• Maintain silence and respect others’ personal space
• Remove shoes or sandals before entering the space
• Keep the area clean and handle all materials with care

In support of inclusivity and comfort, a pink blanket is also available for students wearing skirts, ensuring ease and convenience while using the space.

All OMSC Campus Libraries will implement a four-day on-site work schedule and one-day Work-From-Home arrangement in support of the national government’s energy conservation initiatives, effective March 16, 2026, until further notice.
