Partido State University (ParSU), through the Partido State University Non-Teaching Personnel Association, Inc. (PSUNTPA Inc.), celebrated the National Education Support Personnel Day on May 21, 2026, through โBIDA ANG SUPORTA: A Community Meryenda and Fellowship Gamesโ held at the ParSU Gymnasium, Goa Campus.
In his message, ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo underscored the importance of recognizing support personnel as integral partners in institutional development, emphasizing that while they may be in the background, they are the backbone of operations. He further remarked that, โAs we continue to grow as a University, I hope we also continue to grow as one community where support personnel are not treated as secondary, but as essential โ not just as employees behind the scenes, but as partners in building the future of this institution.โ
The activity honored the hard work and valuable contributions of the NTP to the Universityโs daily operations and service delivery. Through fellowship games and a community meryenda, personnel strengthened camaraderie, promoted wellness, and fostered unity.
By recognizing the indispensable role and dedication of education support personnel, ParSU cultivates a motivated, collaborative, and serviceโoriented workforce that enhances institutional efficiency and improves the quality of services for students, stakeholders, and the wider community.
May 16 is declared National Education Support Personnel Day under Republic Act No. 12178 โ a special working holiday recognizing the vital contributions of nonโteaching personnel in advancing education and institutional development.

The Partido State University (ParSU) College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) strengthened studentsโ career readiness and industry competencies through the successful conduct of simultaneous professional development activities held from May 12-14, 2026 at San Jose Campus.
The series of activities included two-day Serbisyong May Puso: Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training and the Alpha Libran Career Catalyst: Orientation and Testimonial Session. Both aimed at equipping hospitality and tourism students with the skills, values, and global perspectives necessary for future careers in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Partido State University (ParSU) and the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD), through its Asian Institute of Tourism (AIT), have formalized a three-year partnership to advance the Harmony. Innovations. Knowledge. Outskirts for Tourism (HIKOT) : ParSU-UPD Sustainable Coastal Tourism Project, sealing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on May 5, 2026, at the UP AIT Building in Quezon City.
The agreement, signed by ParSU President Dr. Arnel B. Zarcedo and UP Diliman Chancellor Edgardo Carlo Vistan II, institutionalizes collaboration between the two state universities in key academic and extension areas anchored on reciprocity and shared expertise.

Partido State University (ParSU) continues to strengthen its commitment to quality and transformative education as several academic programs successfully earned re-accreditation status from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP).
Among the recognized programs, the Level IV Re-accredited programs stand as a testament to sustained excellence and the highest standards. These include the BS Hospitality Management of the College of Sustainable Communities and Ecosystems โ Caramoan Campus, the BS Nutrition and Dietetics of the College of Public Safety and Community Health โ Lagonoy Campus, the BS Sanitary Engineering of the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, and the BS Geology of the College of Science.
Building on these achievements, Level IV accreditation is recognized as the highest level of program quality, awarded to programs that demonstrate excellent outcomes in Research, Teaching and Learning, Community Service, International Linkages and Consortia, and Planning processes that strongly support institutional quality assurance mechanisms.
Similarly, Level III accreditation recognizes programs that have already met high standards and continue to demonstrate excellence in key areas such as Instruction, Extension and/or Research, Faculty Development, Licensure Examination Performance, Consortia/Linkages, and Library and Learning Resources.
The Level IV Re-accredited programs carry a validity period from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2031, while the Level III Re-accredited programs are valid from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2030. These periods reflect the sustained quality and continuing compliance of ParSUโs academic programs in maintaining standards of excellence.
More than institutional achievements, the re-accreditations reflect the collective dedication of administrators, the Quality Assurance Office, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, students, alumni, and stakeholders in ensuring that quality education remains accessible, responsive, and transformative.
