𝐎𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐀𝐀𝐂𝐔 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

To broaden global perspectives and strengthen agricultural knowledge, Aurora L. Arabiran, a BS Agriculture major in Crop Science student from Occidental Mindoro State University (OMSU) Murtha Campus, is representing the University in the 2026 Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), which commenced today, July 20, and will run until July 31, 2026, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).

The two-week international program brings together outstanding undergraduate students from AAACU member institutions across Asia for an enriching academic and cultural experience. Participants will attend lectures on the latest developments, practices, and technologies in agriculture; visit farms, research facilities, experiment stations, and agricultural industries; and engage in multicultural learning activities that promote knowledge exchange and international collaboration.

The University's participation in the AAACU Summer Enrichment Program reflects its continuing commitment to providing students with international learning opportunities that enhance cultural awareness and practical agricultural skills. Through programs like this, OMSU continues to prepare globally competitive graduates equipped to contribute to sustainable agriculture and rural development in the Philippines and beyond.
