Today, September 22, 2026, the Occidental Mindoro State University – Guidance and Testing Center (OMSU GTC) proudly celebrates the newly inducted officers of the PEER FACILITATORS’ CLUB, A.Y. 2026–2027, who officially took their oath during the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Organizations and Clubs held at the Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Building.

The newly inducted officers were accompanied by their club adviser, Ma’am Cristelle Anne V. Macaburas, RPm, during this meaningful occasion. The Peer Facilitators’ Club is guided by its advisers, Ma’am Haidee D. Cajayon and Ma’am Cristelle Anne V. Macaburas, RPm, who will continue to support the organization in its programs and activities. 💙

Being a Peer Facilitator is more than holding a position. It means being someone who listens, understands, supports, and cares. It is about helping create a welcoming space where fellow students feel heard, respected, and supported. 🌱

HAVE YOU CREATED YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE NEW GUIDANCE AND TESTING SYSTEM?

If not yet, now is the perfect time! ✨

The OMSU Guidance and Testing Center is introducing the New Guidance and Testing System, designed to make it easier for students to access and accomplish important Guidance-related services.

Through the system, students may use their accounts for:

📚 CuReS (Cumulative Record of Students)
📝 Faculty Evaluation
💬 Scheduling of Counseling Sessions
🤝 Other Guidance and Testing Center Services

That means your account is something you’ll want to have ready and updated! 💻✅

👣 FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED!

1️⃣ CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Choose “Student” as your Account Type.

2️⃣ CREATE YOUR PASSWORD 🔐
Your password must have at least 8 characters.

3️⃣ ENTER YOUR STUDENT ID NUMBER 🪪
You can find it on your Student ID or COR.

4️⃣ UPLOAD YOUR PROFILE PHOTO 📸
Use a recent photo showing your head to shoulder, facing the camera, with a white background. PNG, JPG, or JPEG formats are accepted.

5️⃣ UPLOAD THE FRONT OF YOUR STUDENT ID 🪪
Make sure the image is clear and readable.

6️⃣ UPLOAD YOUR LATEST COR 📄
Make sure it is clear and readable. Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, or PDF.

7️⃣ AGREE TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS ✅
Check the box, then click “Create Account.”

8️⃣ WAIT FOR ACCOUNT ACTIVATION ⏳
Your account will be validated and activated by the Guidance Staff.

9️⃣ LOG IN & COMPLETE YOUR CuReS 📚
Once activated, log in and click “My CuReS” to provide the required information and complete your record.

💡 REMINDER: You may leave VI. TEST RESULT and VII. FOLLOW-UP blank, then proceed to the Student Signature and click “Save CuReS.”

📢 ATTENTION, OMSU MAIN CAMPUS!

The Guidance and Testing Center (GTC) invites the President, Vice President, and Secretary of each section under every department of the OMSU Main Campus to attend the upcoming Account Creation & Orientation on the Guidance System.

The activity will provide student leaders with guidance on the account creation process and an orientation on the Student Evaluation of Teachers (SET). Your participation is important in ensuring that the necessary information and instructions are properly communicated to your respective sections.

💜 ROOM-TO-ROOM: SU***DE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN

𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 | September 2026

This September, the OMSU Guidance and Testing Center takes mental health awareness beyond the office and into the classroom.

Through our Room-to-room su***de Prevention Campaign, we aim to create safe spaces for OMSUans to pause, connect, listen, and remind one another that no one has to face their struggles alone.

Sometimes, prevention starts with simply asking:

“𝘒𝘶𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘬𝘢?”
“𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺 𝘬𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢?”
“𝘎𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘨 𝘴𝘢’𝘺𝘰?”

💜 We believe that su***de prevention is not only the responsibility of mental health professionals. It is a shared responsibility that begins with compassion, awareness, and the courage to reach out.

As we go from one room to another, may we bring with us a simple message:
