Preparing Students for the Real World of Work

The Pre-Internship Seminar, held on January 23, 2026, at the OMSC Main Campus Gymnasium, served as a meaningful platform in preparing students for the challenges and expectations of their upcoming internship experience. The seminar aimed to equip students with essential knowledge, professional values, and practical insights necessary for their transition from the academic environment to the real workplace.

The success of the event was made possible through the invaluable contributions of our distinguished speakers: Atty. Lawrence Villamar, who shared legal perspectives and workplace responsibilities; Ms. Madonna Ibay, RGC, who provided guidance on career readiness and professional conduct; Ms. Aufric Alma Gonong, Mr. Arjay Reguyal, and Mr. Eduardo Santiago, who offered real-world insights, industry experiences, and practical advice to help students become confident, competent, and industry-ready professionals.

Through this seminar, students gained a deeper understanding of workplace ethics, career preparation, personal development, and the importance of professionalism in building a successful career. This activity reflects the institutionโ€™s commitment to holistic education and to nurturing future professionals who are skilled, responsible, and prepared to meet industry standards.
