𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 | 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐒𝐔–𝐔𝐀𝐉𝐘 🌏

𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝘁𝗺𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 (𝗨𝗔𝗝𝗬), 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮 held their second virtual meeting on December 18, 2025 via Zoom to finalize the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions.

During the meeting, both parties agreed that the MOA Signing Ceremony will be conducted in January 2026, in conjunction with the official visit of UAJY representatives to the Philippines. As part of the collaborative activities, a lecture seminar will be provided to the students of the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 program during the visit.

The meeting reaffirmed both institutions’ commitment to strengthening academic cooperation, fostering international exposure, and creating meaningful learning opportunities for students and faculty. 🌐✨

Bulacan State University – Sarmiento Campus successfully conducted the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) on December 17, 2025 for the 42 students of BS Hospitality Management and BS Tourism Management who will undertake their Student Internship Abroad Program in Taiwan commencing January 2026. The activity was attended by the interns together with their parents, emphasizing the University’s commitment to ensuring that both students and their families are well-informed and prepared for the students’ international internship journey.

The program formally opened with the Opening Remarks delivered by Dr. Mariciel B. Baligod, Campus Dean, who emphasized the importance of discipline, adaptability, and professionalism as the students start their overseas training. This was followed by the Orientation Proper, led by Mr. Christian Mediran, Head of International Faculty and Student Mobility, together with Ms. Andrea Alday, Representative from Dreamark Taiwan, the university's partner institution, who discussed internship guidelines, host company expectations, cultural awareness, and student responsibilities. An Open Forum was then conducted, providing the students and their parents an opportunity to raise questions and clarify concerns regarding the internship program. Thereafter, a Message from the Department Head was delivered by Dr. Girlie M. Samson, Head of the HTM Department, offering encouragement and reminders on upholding the values and standards of the University. The program concluded with the Closing Remarks by Dr. Maricel C. Galang, SIP and Internationalization Coordinator of Sarmiento Campus, who reaffirmed the University’s full support and wished the students a safe, meaningful, and successful internship experience in Taiwan.

The PDOS served as a vital preparatory activity to ensure that the students are globally ready, informed, and supported as they represent Bulacan State University in their international internship engagement.
