🌏 Strengthening Global Partnerships for Greater International Opportunities! 🤝🇵🇭🇨🇳

The Student Internship Program & Internationalization Office of Bulacan State University – Sarmiento Campus proudly participated in the partnership meeting between Bulacan State University and Tangshan Maritime Institute (China) to discuss future academic collaborations that will open more international opportunities for our students and faculty members.

Representing BulSU Sarmiento Campus, Dr. Maricel C. Galang, Internationalization Coordinator, joined university officials in exploring strategic initiatives that will strengthen global engagement and internationalization across the University.

Among the key areas of collaboration discussed were:
🌍 Student Exchange Programs
🎓 Faculty Exchange and Academic Mobility
🏨 International Internship Opportunities in China
🔬 Joint Research and Academic Conferences
🎭 Cultural Exchange Programs
📚 Virtual Lectures, Webinars, and Knowledge-Sharing Activities

During the meeting, Dr. Galang also raised the possibility of expanding the partnership beyond Hospitality and Tourism Management. Tangshan Maritime Institute expressed its openness to include other academic disciplines, such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, and other programs offered by BulSU, creating more international opportunities for students across different colleges.

Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to establishing a long-term partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will pave the way for student mobility, faculty exchanges, international internships, collaborative research, and other global academic initiatives.

This partnership reflects BulSU's continuing commitment to providing transformative international learning experiences and preparing globally competitive graduates.

🎓✨ Study in Taiwan: Academic Pathways and Career Opportunities – 2026 INTENSE Program Education Fair ✨🎓

The Bulacan State University – Sarmiento Campus Student Welfare Services / Student Internship Program and Internationalization Office proudly shares the successful participation of our students and faculty in the recently concluded “Study in Taiwan: Academic Pathways and Career Opportunities – 2026 INTENSE Program Education Fair” held on April 13, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

The activity brought together our future professionals to explore global academic opportunities, strengthen international linkages, and gain valuable insights into studying and building careers in Taiwan. 🇵🇭➡️🇹🇼

A total of 16 students from the Business Administration Department and 24 students together with 1 alumnus from the Information Technology and Data Science Department actively participated in the event. They were accompanied by Dr. Maricel C. Galang, Internationalization Coordinator of Sarmiento Campus; Mr. Jonathan Magallanes, faculty member of the Business Administration Department; and Mr. Jesus Molina and Mr. Mark David Castillo, faculty members of the Information Technology and Data Science Department, who guided and supported the students throughout the activity.

This meaningful engagement highlights BulSU Sarmiento Campus’ commitment to internationalization, academic excellence, and preparing globally competitive graduates. 🌏📚
