LAC SESSION | Empowering Educators for Inclusive, Innovative, and Effective Teaching: “A Journey of Continuous Professional Growth Through LAC”
Heroesville Elementary School continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusive, innovative, and effective teaching through meaningful professional learning opportunities for its educators.
On September 25, 2026, the school conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session featuring two timely and relevant topics designed to enhance teachers’ knowledge, skills, and classroom practices.
Session 1: Inclusive Classroom Practices for Learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Speaker: Ma’am Jocelyn G. Siriritan
The session focused on strengthening teachers’ understanding of inclusive classroom practices and promoting a learning environment that recognizes, respects, and responds to the diverse needs and abilities of every learner. Ma’am Jocelyn G. Siriritan shared valuable insights and practical strategies that can help teachers foster participation, accessibility, support, and meaningful learning experiences for learners with Special Educational Needs.
Session 2: Foundations of Prompting in Gemini and Gems
Speaker: Rhen Krizhia D. Ampa
The second session introduced teachers to the fundamentals of prompting in Gemini and Gems, highlighting how effective prompting can support lesson planning, instructional resource development, classroom tasks, and other professional responsibilities. The session encouraged teachers to explore technology thoughtfully and responsibly as a tool for enhancing teaching and learning.
Through this LAC session, the teaching force of Heroesville Elementary School continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusive education, continuous professional growth, and innovative teaching practices.
With the guidance and support of our Principal, Sir Joel O. Guidote, together with our Assistant School Head, Ma’am Syche S. Tabuzo, and Master Teacher, Ma’am Maria Alleiah R.
