π CPALE Passing Rate in the Last 10 Years (2015β2025)
The CPA Licensure Examination remains one of the most challenging professional exams in the Philippines. Over the past decade, passing rates have fluctuated significantlyβfrom a low of 14.32% in October 2019 to a high of 42.84% in May 2016. Recent years show a positive trend, with passing rates consistently exceeding 30% and reaching 34.01% in October 2025, the highest since 2017.
β
Highest Passing Rate: May 2016 β 42.84%
β Lowest Passing Rate: October 2019 β 14.32%
π Latest CPALE (October 2025): 34.01% passing rate (3,460 passers out of 10,171 examinees)
π‘ What does this tell us?
Passing the CPALE has never been easy. Whether the national passing rate is 15% or 35%, every successful CPA shares one thing in common: consistent preparation, discipline, and perseverance.
To future CPAs: Don't be discouraged by the statistics. Your goal is not to beat the passing rateβit's to beat the exam. π―π
