Today's Gospel: Luke 24:13-35

The two disciples journeying to Emmaus were filled with grief and confusion over Jesus’ death and the strange reports of His empty tomb. As they walked, Jesus joined them, though they did not recognize Him, reminding us that He is often present even when we fail to see Him. Through His words, He gently corrected their lack of faith and opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. When He broke bread with them, their eyes were opened, and they finally recognized Him.
Like them, we are called to seek Christ in His Word and the Eucharist, trusting that He will guide us from confusion to deeper faith.

This year's theme is "One Siena, One Mission: Shaping Futures Through Love and Peace", highlights the importance of Dominican-Sienan education in shaping leaders who are peace-loving and full of charity.

April 5, 2026 | New beginning

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” - John 20:29

Today, we are reminded that no darkness is too deep, no burden too heavy, and no situation beyond God’s power to transform. Just as Christ rose, we too are called to rise—with faith, with courage, and with renewed hearts.

May this resurrection Sunday remind us that even after the darkest nights, light will rise again. In Him, we are made new.

Happy Easter!

April 4, 2026 | Hold on to faith

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” — Psalm 27:14

Today, we sit in silence.

The cross stands still.
The tomb is sealed.
Hope feels quiet but not lost.

Let us hold on to faith, even when we cannot yet see the light.

For after the silence comes resurrection.

April 3, 2026 | It is finished

“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” Luke 23:46

In His final moment, Jesus did not speak in fear, but in complete trust. Even in suffering, He surrendered everything to the Father.

May we learn to do the same—to place our lives, our worries, and our struggles into God’s hands, trusting that He is always in control.

This Good Friday, we pause and remember the greatest act of love and sacrifice.

April 2, 2026 | Act of humility and service

In the quiet moment of washing His disciples’ feet, Jesus showed us that greatness is found in humility. He did not choose power or position, but service—kneeling down in love, even for those who would fail Him.

This simple act reminds us that true leadership is not about being above others, but about lifting others up with compassion and care. To serve is to love, and to love is to follow His example.

As we reflect on this, may our hearts be prepared for the deeper meaning of His Passion—where love gives, sacrifices, and saves.
