Earlier today (March 18, 2026), the graduating students of Colegio De San Gabriel Arcangel held their baccalaureate mass at Sagrada Famiglia Church. This mass is dedicated to expressing gratitude and celebration for the graduating students for their academic achievements, friendships, and the family support that they had for the rest of their school journeys. It acts as a final gathering to pray for guidance, wisdom, and service as graduates prepare for the future, highlighting themes of loving service, gratitude, and community.

Father Pobre Candido said, “Kung ang ating Panginoon ang ating susundin, kahit gaano man kalalim ang kanilang gampanin, ito ay magiging maganda dahil sila ay tinutulungan ng Panginoon. At ito ay mabuti, para sa karangalan ng Diyos. Ito ay ikagagalak ng Diyos na sila ay tulungan. At sa ganoon, sa kanilang pagsisikap at paghihirap ay kabahagi nila ang Panginoon." In his homily, he emphasized the importance of relying on God’s wisdom and following where He leads them in their future journeys. Everything will be well, for God is with them.

This was attended by the school administrators, JEP principal, heads, and deans of each college, graduating students, and their teachers/professors as they joined in praying for the graduating students to achieve whatever their hearts’ desires were, as the next level of opportunities would open to them.

It takes great courage to pursue a dream because a rainbow comes after the rain; challenges may come in the way of achieving one’s goals and dreams.

Today, March 13, 2026, the Kindergarten and Elementary learners showcase their future career paths as they go up on the stage and affirm their dreams of becoming teachers, doctors, police officers, marine officers, pilots, ship captains, cabin crews, firefighters, nurses, businessmen, IT specialists, a botanist, a scientist, and a marine biologist.

The event started with the opening remarks of Dr. Charles Bryan UriarteUriarte, sharing a story of the eagle egg placed in a chicken's nest. He emphasized that the story is a powerful analogy for how environment and conditioning shape behavior over inherent potential, and how an eaglet raised among chickens acts like a chicken, scratching the ground and never flying, because it believes it belongs on the earth, not in the sky. He encouraged everybody to never be tired and to never give up on finding their potential amid an environment that may influence their choice and decisions.
The highlights of the events were that each learner showcased their future career with great conviction as they introduced themselves and gave reasons why they chose that career.

This activity helped learners to map out their future paths and to inspire others as they navigate in reaching their goals.
This ended in the closing remarks of the JEP Principal – Ma’am Mendalene Teson Millana, who extended her appreciation and thanks to the supportive parents and school administrations, teaching staff, and the practice teachers. She encouraged the learners to enjoy and live as genuine Gabrielian learners as they gradually achieve their dreams.

Finally, to the school administrators (Dr. Gab and Dr. Lucina Uriarte) thank you for your tireless service in ensuring that the Gabrielians would become useful, productive, honest, and trustworthy citizens of society. To the kindergartens and elementary teachers who devoted their time, talents, efforts, and love to shape the future of these children, THANK YOU so much. To the future teachers BEED 4th year 2026, your cooperation, participation, and willingness to be molded and be taught on what lies ahead of your career path, too. Thank you very much.

March 12, 2026 - CDSGA Main Campus

Earlier today, the CDSGA Kindergarten and Elementary Department held an Art Workshop with the Pandayan Bookshop.

This event commenced in the school grounds, where all the learners gathered for the opening activity. Dr. Gabriel Uriarte, the school president, acknowledged the happiness and eagerness on each learner’s face, as well as the good listening habits that were practiced by each of them. He stressed in his inspirational message the beauty of the parents' support in discovering and honing the learners’ potential.

Games were given, and questions were asked about the story that was read. After the short program, each grade level went back to their respective classroom to have their art activity.

Each learner was satisfied with the result of their artwork.

Earlier today – February 20, 2026 (Friday), CDSGA higher elementary learners (grades 4, 5, and 6) conducted a Clean-Up Drive as part of the community service to the adopted barangay, Brgy. Fatima 1.

Before the activity, an orientation was given, informing them of the importance of giving back to the community and doing something that would have a positive effect on the environment and the community.

The Clean-up Drive aims to instill in our learners the values of responsibility, environmental care, and community service. By involving our students in cleaning designated areas near the school, we hope to inspire them to become active contributors to a more sustainable world. This hands-on activity will allow every participant to apply scientific principles while developing a deeper appreciation for nature and the community.

Benefits of joining:
- Educational Experience: This is an extension of classroom learning, where students can witness and experience firsthand the impact of caring for the environment and applying the knowledge of waste segregation.
- Character Building: Community service fosters a sense of responsibility and leadership among young people.
- Promotes Environmental Awareness: With the growing concern about climate change and environmental degradation, this activity will help students understand the importance of sustainability and their role in protecting our planet.

This event would not have come to pass without the support of the school administrators, Dr. Gabriel Uriarte and Dr. Lucina Uriarte, who always support every extra-curricular activity that will help the Kinder and Elementary students to be molded and transformed according to the school's Vision and Mission - Vir Enim Dei (Man of God).

And to the JEP principal, Ms. Mendalene Teson Millana, with each class adviser, Grade 4 Teacher Nancy Ibanez, Grade 5 Teacher Marijane Reyes, Grade 6 Teacher Mary Thiel J Tan, and also the MAPEH Teacher Villa, who partook in cleaning and picking trash to set a model for the children.

Special thanks to BEED 4th year Practice Teaching Students of grades 4, 5, and 6, and the 1st Year BS Criminology Students under the direction of Ma’am Leah Faith Felias (OG Leya).

We also extend our gratitude to the stakeholders- the beloved parents for the unwavering support they give to their children and to the school.

To the Brgy. Chairman of Brgy. Fatima 1 Hon. Jr Senangote Tablan and to the rest of the Brgy. officials for letting our students experience the value of community service and to have a sense of awareness and responsibility in taking care of the environment.

Last but not least to the almighty God for the guidance and love that He bestowed on everyone.

CDSGA Kinder and Elementary Department Held its Dental Month Activity with the theme: Dentista'y Kaagapay Sa Ngiting Walang Humpay.

In celebration of National Dental Health Month, the Kinder and Elementary Department of Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel conducted a Dental Month Activity earlier today, February 13, 2026, at the CDSGA Activity Hall.

This event aimed to promote good oral hygiene habits among young learners through engaging and educational activities.

A couple of clips about dental health are shown, making the learning experience both fun and informative.

Certificates were also awarded to the winners of the poster-making contest from kindergarteners to grade 6 learners in line with the event.

Dr. Maravia De Guzman, the school dentist, led the discussion on proper dental care and hygiene. She demonstrates how to properly brush the teeth.

The JEP Principal, Ms. Mendalene T. Millana, emphasized the importance of teeth not only for eating but also for good communication, and she encouraged everyone to take good care of their teeth.

Teachers and school staff actively guided students, ensuring they understood the importance of good oral hygiene habits at an early age. The event successfully raised awareness on the importance of dental health, leaving a lasting impact on the young learners.

It ended with toothbrushes and toothpastes given to the learners.

CDSGA remains committed to promoting health and wellness among its students, recognizing that proper dental care is an essential part of overall well-being.

Uriarte, Ayezhia Rain Francisco, and those who gave their intermission numbers, the Practice Teaching Students. Last but not least, to Zoey Lucy Mendoza, who emceed today's event.
