Dissecting Experience Day for STEM Students at JC Excellente Christian Academy Inc

In the subject of General Biology 2, STEM students at JC Excellente Christian Academy Inc. had the exciting opportunity to dive deeper into the fascinating world of animal anatomy. The "Dissecting Experience Day" provided an engaging and hands-on way for students to explore the internal structure of a frog—an essential step in understanding the broader concepts of biology and animal physiology.

During the session, students were introduced to the anatomical systems of the frog, such as the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. Guided by their instructors, students carefully performed dissection procedures, using safety equipment and specialized tools, to explore the frog’s body. This hands-on experience allowed them to visually identify organs like the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, and intestines. They also learned how to differentiate between male and female frogs by examining their reproductive organs.

The day was designed to make learning fun and interactive. As students worked together, they discovered the many intricate details of frog anatomy, understanding how each organ and system plays a vital role in the animal's overall function. This experience not only reinforced their classroom lessons but also fostered critical thinking, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the complexity of life forms.
