A day of reflection, gratitude, learning, laughter, teamwork, and renewed purpose unfolded as the teachers and administrators of JCECCI Main Campus and Pandi Campus gathered for the In-Service Training (INSET) 2026.
More than a professional development activity, this yearโs INSET became a meaningful pause from the demands of teachingโa chance to refill our cups, rediscover our purpose, reconnect with one another, and reignite the passion that brought us to the teaching profession.
The program opened with a heartfelt devotion led by Ptr. Ramil Regalado, Guidance Advocate of JCECCI โ Pandi Campus, setting a reflective and spiritually grounded tone for the day
The morning continued with an energizer led by Mrs. Abigail Diamante, Principal of JCECCI โ Pandi Campus, bringing smiles, laughter, and renewed energy to everyone in the auditorium.
The gathering was officially welcomed through inspiring opening remarks from our School Founder and President, Dr. Elvin Urbano, who reminded everyone of the significance of coming together as educators and of the impact we create through our work each day.

Mrs. Veronica Dela Cruz led the first session, โFilling Your Cup,โ inviting everyone to pause and reflect on the importance of taking care of oneself while continuing to pour into others.
In a beautiful exchange of appreciation, teachers and administrators filled each otherโs cups with words of gratitude and affirmation, reminding one another that behind every lesson, every effort, and every challenge is a colleague whose presence and contribution matter.
Through a short workshop and meaningful conversations, everyone was given the opportunity to reflect, connect, and appreciate the people who make the JCECCI community stronger.
After the session, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved break before continuing with the afternoonโs activities.

Dr. Elvin Urbano led the second session, reminding everyone of the power and influence of a teacher.
A touching video featuring JCECCI teachers and their learners, set to the song โI Have Youโ became a heartfelt reminder that the work of a teacher extends far beyond the classroom.

After lunch, the learning continued beyond the four walls of the auditorium.
Teachers from both campuses were grouped into teams for a lively yell presentation and volleyball gameโbringing out creativity, camaraderie, competitiveness, and plenty of laughter! ๐
The activities reminded us that resilience is not only built through challenges, but also through connection, teamwork, trust, and shared experiences.

Following the games and a short break, Dr. Elvin Urbano once again shared spiritually refreshing words of wisdom, giving everyone an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper purpose behind the work we do.
The program concluded with the awarding of certificates and recognition to our resource speakers, participants, and winning teamsโcelebrating not only achievements, but also the enthusiasm, participation, and spirit that made the day meaningful.

INSET 2026 reminded us that educators, too, need moments to pause, be appreciated, be inspired, and be renewed.
Because before we can continue inspiring our learners, we must also allow ourselves to be inspired.
