CDSGA Strengthens Clinical Partnerships Through Hospital Visits for Medical and Allied Health Programs

In a significant step toward enhancing clinical education and industry collaboration, Prof. Babaran and Prof. Parinasan of Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel conducted official visits to Skyline Hospital and Medical Center and Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital on April 29, 2026. The visits were part of CDSGA’s ongoing efforts to establish and strengthen training and clinical internship affiliations for its Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiologic Technology programs.

The purpose of the visits was to initiate and formalize partnerships that will provide students with hands-on clinical exposure in accredited healthcare institutions. These affiliations are expected to play a vital role in ensuring that students acquire the necessary competencies, practical skills, and professional readiness required in their respective fields.

During the meetings, discussions focused on aligning academic objectives with hospital-based training standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and exploring opportunities for long-term collaboration. Both institutions expressed openness to supporting CDSGA’s mission of producing highly competent and industry-ready healthcare professionals.

CHED Region III Conducts Quality Assurance Visit at CDSGA for Allied Health Programs

Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel welcomed the Regional Quality Assurance Team of the Commission on Higher Education Region III on April 23, 2026, as part of the institution’s application for the recognition of its Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology programs.

The evaluation visit, held at CDSGA, marked a significant milestone in the institution’s continued pursuit of academic excellence. The CHED evaluators conducted a comprehensive assessment of the programs, including curriculum design, faculty qualifications, laboratory facilities, library resources, and clinical affiliations.

School officials, led by administrators and program heads, presented detailed documentation and evidence demonstrating compliance with CHED standards. Faculty members and staff actively participated in the evaluation process, showcasing the institution’s readiness to deliver quality education in the allied health sciences.

The BS Medical Technology and BS Radiologic Technology programs are among CDSGA’s flagship offerings in the health sciences, designed to produce competent and ethical healthcare professionals equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values required in the medical field.
